Title says it all. How do you define god.

Is the definition constant throughout your arguments?

Many problems arise because people have different definitions for god. What is your definition?

Okay. How can you define any properties of god from that definition? You cannot define properties, and therefore cannot make any solid arguments.

Assuming God is infinite and eternal, He is also the Creator of our world, what is the problem for you so I can answer what you are asking?

When I speak of God or of a 'god' here is what I am thinking:
1. God = Our Heavenly Father, the LITERAL Father of our spirits. (we have an EARTHLY Father and Mother of our bodies)...likewise for our spirits we have a SPIRITUAL Father and Mother.
2. god = a being that has power to control the elements (and other types of powers).
I believe that it is an ordination...just as a person can be ordained as a Priest (through the authorized Priesthood and Priesthood Keys - (which exist in only the true Church that holds that authority and Priesthood)...a person may (after this life) also be ordained to become a King (or Queen) [all contingent upon worthiness and faithfulness] and finally throughout eternal progression I believe that 'godhood' (power over the elements) can also be bestowed upon a faithful individual...BUT that person will never be GOD THE FATHER....they will just have grown up and advanced and become like God is.

naturally, if he has full control over every aspect of the universe, he can also choose to have some things run themselves independently. so no.

The word you are asking a definition for, god, is not God. You seem to be making a rhetorical argument against God which starts out by denying He is God., and then equates gods which are not God to God who you deny is the ruler over all. His law is written in your heart, You are rejecting God from His rightful place ruling over you, and in doing so you are propelling yourself into the fire of Hell.
There is no god that can save you from Hell.
You acknowledge God as God or you don't. It seems obvious that you don't. God can and will save you from Hell if you will a. Admit you have sinned against Him, are a sinner who deserves to die, and deserve any punishment God sees fit to put on you including eternal separation in Hell fire away from Him who you have denied b. Believe God loves you so much He died in your place as the Son of God sent by God the Father to pay for your sins so you can be forgiven by Him as He is the Living God, risen from the dead. and c. call on God the Father, in the name of God the Son, Jesus Christ, to save you from the penalty of your sins which is death in Hell and He will save you now.

You can only blame yourself if you end up frying like eternal sausage in Hell. God did all He could do for you to save you, and He is giving you time outside of Hell which you do not deserve.

I define God as all that exists and has existed and will exist. To me, God is existence itself.
It is the energy which exists and has always existed and which cannot be created or destroyed. All things are made up of it.

Arrogant, unfaithful. At least he is to Hera. Bitter, and exhibiting adolescence when he bickers with the other gods. Often irresponsible, lazy, and unreliable.

Or were you referring to another god?

I define God as an eternal, almighty being. A being that always has been and always will be. A being that exists by itself. A being that makes up the entire universe and beyond. A being that can't possibly be comprehended or understood by the human mind.

I would think that just about everyone has a different view of God if you dig deep enough. We can't even totally agree on the characteristics of a person, let alone God.

ALL acclaimed supernatural god(s) are 100% the fabrication / concept of humans.

Therefore their various concepts can & do vary according to the individuals thoughts they put forward.

ALL associated Story books (claimed as scripture) contain those supernatural concepts entirely according to the author(s) imagination with a smattering of actual History to make them seem plausible!

How do I define god?

I don't know whether or not there is a God, but I can say with complete confidence that the Bible has nothing to do with it. The Bible is nothing but crap.

Yes my definition is constant.

No people do not generally define God differently.

Okay. How can you define any properties of god from that definition? You cannot define properties, and therefore cannot make any solid arguments.

Assuming God is infinite and eternal, He is also the Creator of our world, what is the problem for you so I can answer what you are asking?

Is god omnipotent? Is god omniscient? Is god benevolent? Is god responsive?
