Why does my father force me to become a Pastor ?

I mean like I know that God's will for my life is to become a Christian Writer and not a Pastor but why does he keep on forcing me. I have asked God many times is it His will for me to become a Pastor but his answer is NO.
I can't start my own Ministry without money so I need a good earning job to start my Ministry but he does not understand. I don't know why.......
I don't think I will be doing any work for God if he keeps on forcing me like this.

I know that God's will for my life is not to be a Pastor but a Christian Writer in another Country but he does not understand. I don't know why.........

What should I do about this ?

I doubt your father is putting a gun to your face.

Just become a writer. Do with your life what you will, whatever makes you happy. :D

Your dad is not a Christian if he is forcing you to do something that you would prefer not to do.

Just say, "Screw you, Dad, I have my own life. F*ck off and let me become a writer, you Bible Thumper."

That's a "Satanic" doctrine from Aleister Crowley's Book of the Law (highly frowned upon by Christianity).

In all fairness, it isn't all that clever--certainly not "literary," whatever you mean by that.

So you both have the same imaginary friend, but he tells you one thing and your father another?
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.
