I find it doubtful if your talking about the friends Jesus had like 2,000 years ago.

If you mean someone who has a relationship to God and talks to him, then many do believe that.

like Paul he's became an apostle after Christ.

yes.

people do still get 'the calling' church hierarchy generally doesn't use the term apostle for a specific person though, since all Christians are called to apostleship in some sense. but what Paul was specifically would be called a missionary pastor today.

read the end of the book of john, you may find a startling clarification as to what Christ actually said. http://www.biblegateway.com...

Jesus wasn't saying 'john you shall live forever' he was telling peter 'its none of your business what happens to john' and considering this book was likely written by John himself I think its fairly accurate to say Jesus didn't make john immortal (till the second coming that is).

I thought "shall not taste death" meant more like he's not going to Hell, but thats just from reading that out of context.

im not saying that the apostle in the past is still alive today(i know theyre dead)
What im saying is does God still call apostle today? you know 'send' or 'call' to be an apostle to teach his Gospel

Well there's some more modern religions that believe that God still has prophets. The Baha'i faith is a good example, believing that about every 1000 years God will appoint a new messenger.

yeah he is! his teachings is wrong those polygamy he add this new book(book of mormons) even though in revelation its bad to add a "single word" or letter
and theyre adding a book that is plainly 'forgery'

if i meet someone claiming to be an apostle he should prove it in accordance to the bible.

im so curious cause i never seen a church that is really 'Godly' holy and has a complete 'service' to God

How do you know that the BoM is a forgery?
and
the church ended polygamy quite some time ago

What in the bible directly contradicts the BoM?

Don't need much in the way of brains: just a couple of a couple of South Park episodes and you'll see why Mormonism is dumb dumb dumb-dumb-dumb dumb.

It's the only religion that's "Made in the USA"! Other than what those heathens had before here of course. I guess Joseph Smith figured out that Mohammed had a really great gig and so he figured he could do the same and voila!

So you have 1)Not said anything
2)Says south park disproves it that is kinda like saying that Islam is false because it was on Family Guy, although Family Guy is probably more credible
It's the only religion that's "Made in the USA"! Other than what those heathens had before here of course. I guess Joseph Smith figured out that Mohammed had a really great gig and so he figured he could do the same and voila!

I beg to differ. I have said plenty.

2)Says south park disproves it that is kinda like saying that Islam is false because it was on Family Guy, although Family Guy is probably more credible.
No way!!! South Park is a million times better than Family Guy. South Park kicks Family Guy's arse!

It's the only religion that's "Made in the USA"!
Huh?
I think it's pretty self explanatory. It's made in New York, upstate of course. No one in NYC woulda fallen for that hullabaloo.

Other than what those heathens had before we got here of course.
My bad. I have corrected it. By heathens I meant the Ingines. I meant that they had religions before the Europeans got to the new world.

I guess Joseph Smith figured out that Mohammed had a really great gig and so he figured he could do the same and voila!
Also pretty self explanatory...if you know about Islam & Mohammed.

So, your reasoning is
South Park = Funny
so it must be absolute truth? That seems pretty convoluted reasoning to me

I am suprised that no one mentioned the Pope.
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.
