Okay its simple but maybe hard to explain so I'll try.

If there is no set reason for people to live, then it is up to each person to decide whats worth their life.

Its kinda like on Sims if you've played it, when the character turns teen age they decide what their aspiration in life is. The more you do to achieve it the happier the Sim is. Easily applied to RL but theres no set age that you decide.

Some people want families, some want to support a cause, some want to just live a happy and full life, some want to break a record, have a reason to be remembered, be a leader, any number of things that only that person can decide.

Did that help any?

If someone believes there is no objective meaning of life, then they may believe there is meaning only as far as we define it for ourselves. I can't speak for all atheists. I assume its at least agreeable to a fair number.

Yes, I agree with lovelife. The Sims analogy is very good.
I want children and want to give them a better childhood than I had, so right now I'm enjoying life while trying to be a responsible adult until I find the right girl. I guess I want to make my loved ones proud too. I'd like to become a successful magician, but I have an awesome job now so I want to raise in my current career as well, so I'd be happy with being a highly skilled hobbiest..
God doesn't even come into the equation. I'm only adding this because this is in religion, so I assume it is supposed to have something to do with God.

I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

That is not a very intelligent way to murder someone, too easy to detect. Maybe just wait a few years and leave home?
