Yes. God is for me as true as is for example president Obama. If Obama would not give green card for me, I would still believe that he exists. :)

b) believe in any other god?

Actually I don*t care about other gods, even if they would be real, I wouldn"t keep them as my God.

c) worship your god and if so why?

I don"t understand what you mean with worship God. I want to do God"s will, because I understand it is good and right. I don"t see that as worship.

d) what would be the purpose of your life?

Love.

e) would you kill, rape and maim indiscriminately?

No.

f) if not why not?

Because I think it is wrong and against love.

g) would you still know love?

I think so.

h) is your belief predicated on what you will get out of it? ie an afterlife.

I think it doesn"t depend on afterlife. Is yours?

So your god is the tribal leader he was based on when man invented him. OK
b) believe in any other god?

Actually I don*t care about other gods, even if they would be real, I wouldn"t keep them as my God.
So you don't believe in Putin. That's really quite silly.
c) worship your god and if so why?

I don"t understand what you mean with worship God. I want to do God"s will, because I understand it is good and right. I don"t see that as worship.
Your god orders you to worship him, but if there are no consequences if you don't then why would you. Claiming to not know what worship is, is disingenuous.
d) what would be the purpose of your life?

Love.
And yet now it is to achieve a glorious afterlife.
e) would you kill, rape and maim indiscriminately?

No.
One of the few christians to answer like that.
f) if not why not?

Because I think it is wrong and against love.
Well you are right.
g) would you still know love?

I think so.
Perhaps you would.
h) is your belief predicated on what you will get out of it? ie an afterlife.

I think it doesn"t depend on afterlife. Is yours?
I have no beliefs but I think most christians are only "good" in order to be rewarded in a mythical afterlife.

Your answers were better than I expected 12..................thanks.

You're in luck, the thumb never actually touches the fret board unless you get bored lol. And of course if it's your strumming hand you can utilize finger picking.

Are you afraid to face them and answer honestly?
Ya see I get it, death holds no fear for me.
It's the godbotherers who want to live after they die.
And they expect (not want) that because they are so special in the entire universe.
We call that hubris.

yes, just because there is no afterlife, doesn't mean that God is unreal
b) believe in any other god?
well, no obviously if my god exists, even if there is no afterlife, he would be the only God.
c) worship your god and if so why?
yes, he is sort of God, and being God, he would be deserving of worship
d) what would be the purpose of your life?
Same as it is now, to go on loving and caring for everyone.
e) would you kill, rape and maim indiscriminately?
no
f) if not why not?
it would still be wrong
g) would you still know love?
yes...?
h) is your belief predicated on what you will get out of it? ie an afterlife.
no of course not it is based on the fact that I truly believe God is real and that it is right to follow what he tells us because he loves us and wants the best for us.

Lets break this down step by step for Bul....

There is an afterlife regardless of what we believe, this has no bearing on motive Bully even though you can't comprehend that.
An afterlife we get whether we like it or not, that is not the motive for my beliefs. I can't ignore an after life, I can' t pretend one exists, IT DOES exist whether I like it or not. Personally the idea of nothingness and the concepts that Atheists accept is much easier, nothing about an afterlife makes anything easier on the contrary I find it much more complicated.

A Christian spiritual lifestyle is coming to terms with those facts and facing them. Spirituality in Christianity is about getting away from the flesh, it's desires, it's pulls and weaknesses to commit to spiritual understanding and spiritual principles.
Christianity is about understanding the spiritual nature of our creation and embracing the eternal reality of our consciousness and honoring the maker of all life.

Real Christianity and spirituality is about recognizing the truth of our beings and maximizing that which is abiding in God and His Spirit. Moving away from the flesh and things that are temporal and things that have no value to pursue that which is outside of ourselves and the things that are eternal.
Spiritual vision and understanding goes beyond the motives of the flesh where real treasure is to be found, treasure that surpasses material gain and physical pleasure to encompass that which is reality, that which is truth and that which is the core of all things.

It's not about fantasies, delusions, comfort, material gain, greed, indoctrination, motives, money, control or power it's the opposite of these things! True spirituality is understanding the first will be last and the last first not the other way around. Taking the spiritual road is the narrow way not the broad way Bulpoop, you wouldn't understand that spirituality is visiting the dark places, the uncomfortable places, the places of death, the places of the heart that would scare you silly.

God is a purifier and a maximizer, if you aren't pliable, humble, flexible and movable you have nothing in common with spirituality. You are as good as dead.

My God is the Bible God. I don"t think there is any scripture in the Bible that says God demanding worship. If you know scripture in the Bible that demands it, please show it.

g) would you still know love?

I think so.
Perhaps you would.

And that is because of the Bible.

I have no beliefs but I think most christians are only "good" in order to be rewarded in a mythical afterlife.

I think that is not good, because according to the Bible, eternal life is for righteous.

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Mat. 25:46

If only reason to not do evil things is the idea of reward, person is probably not righteous. Jesus taught that we should not be hypocrite and that it is not useful, if the "cup" is clean outside, but full of evil inside.

Meanwhile, when a multitude of many thousands had gathered together, so much so that they trampled on each other, he began to tell his disciples first of all, "Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
Luke 12:1

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness. You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the platter, that the outside of it may become clean also.

Matthew 23:25-26
