So, browsing the History Forum I came across the DDO History written by Imabench. The paragraph that caught my eye was this:

"Some of the forums created were actually prophecies for the future of DDO, such as the first forum ever made in (ironically) the religion section (http://www.debate.org...;) The title of which said 'Religious debates are futile'... In the end, we can all see the relevance behind this warning."

So here is the very first topic in the Religion Forums:
http://www.debate.org...

I find it slightly amusing. Religious debates ARE futile in my opinion. I only come here because you guys are more fun to argue with than my husband. War on DDO, peace at my place.

So, is it really futile? Are we all wasting our time here?

It is never futile to compare views. It would only be pointless if no one ever modified their view. Clearly, views change and evolve.

That is a good way to look at it.

However, something that I have observed is that those who tend to change their views on a subject like religion are more susceptible to changing them again and again. A revolving door of indecisiveness. In these cases it really does seem futile. It's like Russian Roulette with your eternal soul. Only the revolver has no bullets in it and some people fail to realize that.

So perhaps the futility comes later.

It's futile to argue about something that cannot be seen by anyone.

I haven't wasted any time in this forum because I have found several believers who can hear the voice of God.

Good job. You've been here for like 20 minutes. If you're Brad they're going to give you the boot so that you won't waste anyone else's time. Sorry.

I haven't left this forum my friend since being banned as bornofgod. It only takes a few minutes to open a new account and find God's believers. I have found several since I was banned the first time.

I told the believers in this forum that I wouldn't leave them until my body is killed for testifying to the Word of God, which is my created existence. Once I'm no longer in here, then they will know that I've been killed. This has to happen before the end of this age occurs.

God knows where all His believers are and most of them are in Campbell, CA. where I've been preaching His Voice to them for the past four years. Many are now coming to me on Youtube.com.

This is the only forum left on the internet where a few of His believers are. Since I'm only His Voice, I'm not in charge of arranging the meetings between me and His believers. He puts them in my path so I don't have to worry about being at any one place.

I think it is futile if you have some sort of great expectation that it's going to change the mind, thinking, or belief of someone other than yourself, or that it's always going to be a friendly, polite exchange.

But I think that if you are doing it to learn and grow, or like you said, enjoy arguing or appeasing your big fat vain ego, you are fooling yourself.

I find it slightly amusing. Religious debates ARE futile in my opinion. I only come here because you guys are more fun to argue with than my husband. War on DDO, peace at my place.

So, is it really futile? Are we all wasting our time here? : :

It's futile to argue about something that cannot be seen by anyone.

I haven't wasted any time in this forum because I have found several believers who can hear the voice of God.

Good job. You've been here for like 20 minutes. If you're Brad they're going to give you the boot so that you won't waste anyone else's time. Sorry. : :

I haven't left this forum my friend since being banned as bornofgod. It only takes a few minutes to open a new account and find God's believers. I have found several since I was banned the first time.

Why do you need to find Gods believers? : :

God's believers don't have the full knowledge that us saints possess. Once they listen to the gospel we preach to them, they learn about the beast, the future and how God created everything. They know Him so they trust His voice ( the gospel ) that I preach to them.

Why has God not given them the same knowledge he gave you Brad? Is he incapable of putting the same deluded thoughts in their heads as he puts in yours?

God only used us saints to testify to His knowledge ( thoughts ), not His believers. Not even God's prophets were used to reveal the beast, the future or how God created everything.

Has God lost them ? : :

God knows exactly where everything is at since He's the Creator of everything. I'm only His Voice so whatever comes out of His Voice is witnessed by me. This is how I learned who I was.

Sure you did. I also told myself who I was and learned all about myself by telling myself about me.

I'm sure yourself didn't tell you that you're a fool and totally fooled by your own interpretations of the biblical scriptures.

What do you do with them all once you find them ? : :

All I have to do is preach the gospel ( Voice of the Lord ) to them. Whatever comes out of my mind is what God wants them to know before I am killed.

You preach a false gospel Brad. You even deceive yourself with it.
You are not going to be shot or killed by any other human. You will simply die of old age one day if you don't have a fatal accident before hand. : :

The gospel means the Voice of the Lord. Not one Christian knows that fact. No one knows my future but me and our Creator. All you can do is deny my thoughts and lie about me.

Lol, that may be true. We could also approach it from another angle. Views don't change, but the weak areas are shored up by discussion.

So perhaps the futility comes later.

You're quick mind never ceases to amaze me. That would be why politics and religion are discussed most often at length.
