I urge all atheists to support Atheism + and Free thought blogs (FTB in order to fight discrimination in the atheist movement against women and ethnic minorities. By supporting Atheism Plus ( http://atheismplus.com... link in brackets) and FTB ( http://www.richardcarrier.info... link here). You can help give sceptical women and minorities a voice.

What a stupid argument, with typical third wave feminism nonsense. The testimony of alleged rape victims shouldn't be considered trustworthy if they were drinking heavily, as that impairs recollection substantially. It should be taken with a grain of salt. And resources are SERIOUSLY misdirected by current first world feminist advocacy in order to satisfy their decidedly bourgeois pet projects. Dawkins does validly touch on one (the fact that more resources should be going to third world countries, which suffer grotesque amounts of systemic misogyny); another example is the mythical 'campus rape epidemic' which diverts funds and energy away from the areas suffering the REAL epidemic: inner cities. Anyone who calls themselves a free thinker should be questioning these sacred cows without fear of retribution, however hysterically these so-called intellectuals often treat dissent.

I dislike the 'New Atheism' movement pretty intensely, but I dislike third wave feminism just as strongly. To me, this is an awful union that makes New Atheism worse than I ever imagined it could be, and the fact that there are forces with the movement putting up a fight against it is a GOOD thing.

Plus, the argument applied to atheism in general is a bit dumb, considering that when you look at equity feminism and libertarian philosophy, three of the biggest influences were the women know as the 'mothers of Libertarianism' (Rand, Paterson, and Lane). Not to mention Simone de Beauvoir, on the left.
"The Collectivist experiment is thoroughly suited (in appearance at least) to the Capitalist society which it proposes to replace. It works with the existing machinery of Capitalism, talks and thinks in the existing terms of Capitalism, appeals to just those appetites which Capitalism has aroused, and ridicules as fantastic and unheard-of just those things in society the memory of which Capitalism has killed among men wherever the blight of it has spread."

But we need to fight against misogyny inside the skeptic community. I for example plan to donate a lot of money to help fund the campaign against the rampant sexism and patriarchal misogynistic bigotry in the Skeptic movement.

No, it's not, for the reasons Skep explained.

This is completely untrue. Although individual atheists may be sexist or racist a far lower proportion are open minded and do not unfairly discriminate against people unlike Christianity, where women are prevented by its rules from reaching its highest positions. The Anglican church is a total fraud. King Henry the 8th created it in order to divorce his wife to marry his mistress and to purge the Catholic church of powerful figures and it's valuable land, treasure, gold and other valuable things owned by the Catholic church. Christianity is clearly a myth but the Anglican church is comparable to Jehovah's witness religion in being one of its most disproven and most unlikely version of events.
