Christianity is an agnostic faith.

In contemporary usage, when most people hear "agnostic", they think it means "I don't know whether or not God exists". If you understand the theological concept of "God", what the concept points to clearly exists independent of any defining. It isn't the existence of God that is in question, of this there is no doubt. The essence of the uncreated God can not be captured within creation. God itself is unknowable.

In addition to the nature of God being unknowable, religion is recognized as being creation, and a testimony of God rather than something to be lifted up as an idol before God.

The type of Christianity that people tend to have a problem with? This is not the Christianity that is described in the New Testament. Every single apostasy of the church was prophesied of within the epistles, and sincere and open minded study will reveal this. The epistles are short. Read each one in their entirety, and you will see that the claims I am making here are evident.

The way of life that a follower of Christ is prescribed? Sincerity of faith with a love for The Truth, and loving charity based on forgiveness rather than condemnation or tolerance. If you embody this way of life, you will eventually correct yourself from any type of error. This prescription is a guideline, a way of operating that is conducive to developing righteous discernment and wisdom pertaining to Truth.

Christianity is about how we as human beings relate to God, and how we interact with God. It is not a dogmatic religion, but an agnostic faith.
"There are trivial truths and the great truths. The opposite of a trivial truth is plainly false. The opposite of a great truth is also true." ~ Niels Bohr

"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." ~ Arthur Schopenhauer

You desperately need to see your loved ones after you're dead.
Voila god and heaven.
Stone age man were very clever.
Too bad you're not.
And I realized when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know."

Wait... Are you talking about Gnosticism as in gnosctic theist/atheist or Gnosticism as the version of Christianity that was (somewhat) popular in the 2nd-3rd century CE?

If the 2nd, you do know that St. Paul was a gnostic, right?
