Objective: (of a person or their judgment) not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts.

Eyewitness account: a person who actually sees some act, occurrence, or thing and can give a firsthand account of it

Notice that neither the words subjective, objective, evidence or fact are included in the definition of eyewitness account.

Eye witness accounts are proven to be extremely unreliable due to how attention and other processes work in the human brain. They are also biased because what was saw, heard, felt, etc is processed internally and can only be experienced by that one person.

If aggregating eye witness accounts, it may or may not lend credibility and validity. It all depends on various factors. IE: three people witness a crime. What is relationship to perp, what perspective did they witness the crime from, etc.

The entire idea of aggregating it is to find commonality and confirm facts and eliminate bias. Sometimes possible and sometimes not.

Misinformation effect, false memory, memory degrading, etc. are all reasons to.think eye-witness testimony is not necessarily reliable. If multiple people attest to the same thing, then it becomes more likely (but empirical evidence would still trump it). In history there is a certain crieria that must be met before accepting eye-witness testimony.

No.

Are they evidence?

Yes, but only as a part of the whole story.

Are they true or false? : :

False until you have the complete story.
