I pity them more than anything, because they are a great deal more susceptible to magic than they think they are.

No.
If that was the only issue, then vote moderation could be avoided more often, since a vote in which the voter does explain sufficiently how at least one point a debater made swung their vote, would be considered sufficient. -Airmax

Are you deliberately trying to come up with the most ridiculous response possible?

This from someone who believes in a Sky Fairy because the dictionary has a definition for this Sky Fairy. It has to be projection. Lol.

the trouble is that if your god actually did create the universe
then reason, science and faith should complement each other
however faith is the excuse people give when they don't have reason or evidence
reading the bible is the main reason that i'm an atheist

No Christian hates atheists, Gritty.

When they vilify, marginalise and misrepresent them, it's from righteous, paternalistic love.

Who would have thought this simple question would instead bring out the atheists who hate Christians.

G-worm, was that on purpose?

BTW, I don't hate atheists. What I feel about them does not rise to the level of hate. I feel about them sort of the way I feel about semi-educated oafs on reality TV. Eh.

But they are good for laughs tho.

I absolutely enthuse over your Christian fruits of the spirit, at abundant display here. I also realize you're well aware of the straightforward difference, really basic elementary stuff, between sarcasm and trolling.

If it is sarcasm, a little goes a long way. Don't embarrass yourself.

Ok. Your post was supposed to increase the sarcasm on the board. For someone who uses sarcasm, you skin is really kinda thin. Perhaps you're new at it.

As a conceptualization, God cannot be The Ultimate Reality.

However, the conceptualization points to something that is beyond conceptualization, and it is this Holiest Name that encompasses Highest Truth and Ultimate Reality. This is where it is True.

The "is of identity fallacy" is not one that people are commonly aware of, but understanding it is very key to God Realization.

I have to say I never really expected a straight answer from you.

I think it's going to take a public debate for you to catch up to reality. I have a suggestion, since I don't think any high-profile atheist would be willing to publicly debate you nor do I think you're willing to go to such trouble. There's this call-in show on Youtube called The Atheist Experience. Make sure you get Matt Dillahunty.

I will order pizza.

If schooling people in debate only really had such an effect.

Really, isn't it obvious that I'm dealing with people that refuse to acknowledge what is outside of their own straw man? Look at you, you get your information from bad sources and you refuse to acknoweldge sources that are valid. Your bias has clouded your judgement.

Look how foolish you are! You deny the existence of Ultimate Reality. Do you not see how this is a position of failure? It's a patently ridiculous position. The position is so ridiculous that holding it practically discredits everything you say.

Are you even capable of comprehending why I would hold such a position? I'm not just blowing smoke, your position is really THAT stupid. Why would I say such a thing? I have good reason to.

Then to add to the ridiculousness of what you say, you tell me that I need to "catch up to reality" when you yourself deny reality? Is it not obvious that you either don't understand what the concept of "God" represents, or you are a liar?

Yet I patiently endure all this dipshittery. For what reason? For hope that THE OBVIOUS should become manifest. That an atheist has absolutely no good justification for their pretentiousness, and that they themselves hold a position that is ultimately irrational.

You really outdid yourself this time.

Your style and substance around here are obviously working wonders, seeing how so many have changed their minds over your carefully presented substantive and irrefusable arguments. That's why I believe a public debate would the logical next step, just the right platform to beacon your brilliancy from, so that you could reach a greater number of people.

I do think the Atheist Experience is the right fit. Call in. Make sure Matt is hosting.
Please, you give me a heads up, you hear?

Much obliged.

If all assertions are false in some sense, in what sense is the assertion that God is the ultimate reality false?

If you think that a debate can disprove reality, you are truly deluded. I wonder how much baggage you have attached to what I say in order for that to not make sense.
