A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

So Jesus will kill off at least half of mankind at Armageddon and he's supposed to be loving?

I'd hate to find out what hate is, then.

Thankfully this is all a fiction which has been going on for almost 2000 years. It's not like the credibility of this mafia-style ultimatum is soaring.

What has taking responsibility for one's actions got to do with the greatest genocide in the history of mankind?

Oh, the folly.
It's revelatory you didn't answer the question. Your best comeback amounts to, quote, "lol".
Very deep.

If you condone the genocide of more than 3 000 000 000 people what exactly would allow you to take the moral high ground?

The God of the Bible cannot seriously be equated with love when in so many instances He is undistinguishable from vicious vengeful hate. Therefore, we can all be grateful for the fact of the complete absence of evidence for his existence.

I see that the prospect of a genocide which would make the one which Hitler authored look like a playground prank makes you go silent and I pay you the compliment of thinking such silence betrays uneasiness.

What was the context of the "genocide"? If 10,000 soldiers march into your villages and rape and pillage them on a monthly basis, is genocide okay or immoral? It depends on howyou look at it. Take Sodom and Gamorah. Why were they evaporated? Google,"why were sodom and gamorah destroyed". I would havedone worse. They are lucky God delt with them and not one of us. His justice was quick and painless. I would have been carnal minded and made them feelthe same pain they had inflicted to others first, and I am by human standards quite gentle.

Atheists always say genocide, but do not look at the context of the judgement. Take Sodom and Gamorah. If you actually look up the context or google "why did god destroy Sodom and Gamorah", us humans would have done much worse to them in vengeance. At least God's judgement was swift. I would have made them suffer the same pain they had inflicted, slowly, and agonizingly had it been my loved ones they had done in such fashion, and by human standards, I am typically quite gentle. The judgement of God is justice upon the wicked. It's easy to judge what you have never studied or don't understand. Justice is not evil.

Clearly, your profile is either incorrect or needs to be updated as it says you are a Christian. Or, are you trying to set new standards, as low as they are, to be a Christian?
