A notable part of the run-up to Armageddon is the worlds Government turning on religion.

Whatever else you think of it as, IS is part of religious system descended from Ishmael, a BBC report tells us "Meanwhile, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution to "redouble" action against Islamic State.
The unanimously backed resolution - which was drafted by France - also called on members to "take all necessary measures" and co-ordinate efforts in the fight against IS, which claimed responsibility for the 13 November attacks in Paris."

Is this the first step in governments becoming tired of the interference of religion in their affairs?

Not according to the religion you claim it is part of.
Jehovians are pagan idol worshipers is as valid as your claim.

Pfffft. I think we all realize that you and the WatchTower are the last people on earth anyone would want to "analyze the signs of the times." The only good thing about is: since the BotchTower's batting average hovers around 000.000 on interpreting prophesy and predicting future events, anything you or they say along those lines is laughable.

*** Sighs *** 'Tis a long-standing WatchTower tradition, even among disfellowshipped Witnesses.

destroying IS just like destroying whole parts of regions in this word since IS not only stuck in Syria and Iraq. Aren't the recent Algeria soothing, russian plane crash, paris terror and mali hostage the part of IS existence?

You will never find an idol in any of their Kingdom Halls. They only worship the same God that Christ and the Apostles worship.

And yes, they do indeed teach, as does the Bible, that Islam is descended from Ishmael, and is everything that Jehovah told Hagar they would be.

Maybe, in the eyes of the worldly wise, but they are none the less Jehovah's chosen people, draw to his son's side for just that purpose.

Yes religious extremism is a real problem in the world. The intolerance of extremist individuals is a blight on civilized society. However no evidence exists that Islamic state will cause an Armageddon like event.

No, that was three centuries ago, and called the Enlightenment, in which democratic governments decided that religious hegemonism was incompatible with justice, compassion, and respect for intellectual freedom.

Since ripping the claws of religious paternalism away from human thought, we've produced this thing called Science, MCB. It has delivered uh... hip replacements, cataract surgery, the Internet, and the highest literacy and lowest infant mortality in human history.

Perhaps the end is nigh. But meanwhile, you're welcome.

The separation of Church and State led to secularism. It was done so that Governments could be more democratic without favouring any particular religion. It had nothing to do with science.

Perhaps the end is nigh. But meanwhile, you're welcome.
