No offense, bro, but if you have to come to us for help and you can barely spell correctly or put together complete sentences, your prospects don't look too good.

if you want help just practice debating on a few Christians here, like me. and make sure you debate several to get a good idea of the variety of kind of arguments we could make, Cause everyone has their own individual flair to how the debate, what points they make and with what emphasis.

If he is having a vocal debate I don't think his spelling will affect much. whole different set of challenges come from that kind of debate. It would be cool if we could hold that kind of debate hear actually, not just compete in argument skills but in presentation skills. You may have better points logically but if I'm as good an orator as Obama and your as good as this guy then you will likely still lose.

First tip, find out what the SDA's believe in. The worst predicament you could find yourself in, is accusing them of something they dont even believe in.

Second tip, bring some cards with your favorite arguments on them, as a reminder. Its very common to get flustered and forget what argument you want to present.

Third tip, bring a separate peice of paper, so that you can jot down notes when your opponent is speaking. If you find something that you can critisize, jot it down, and in your rebuttal, address it. The best arguments to address, are the main points. For example, if he brings up the "No one would die for a lie" sort of argument, crush him down.

As for arguments, depends on what the LDS believe in, but the more general arguments are better suited for these types of debates.

Problem of evil.
Logical contradiction of Gods nature
Historical lack of evidence for Jesus Christ and/or his actions.(You will need quite a bit of knowledge to debate this one, though)
Euthyphro dilemma is quite good too

Do you really think someone with Obama's speaking skills would have the writing skills of a second grader?

I can vouch for Mirza.

What?
What sort of point could a person possibly be trying to make with that argument? not denying no has since obviously you have heard a christian make something that sounds like this before, but up till now I have not heard of this.

Youve never heard of this argument? Cause i have.

It goes something like this.

Basically, since the 12 apostles were all persecuted and in many cases, killed for their beliefs, they would not have died, unless they were dying for something they believed was true. It goes to somehow credit the apostles and their experiences, as being true.
