I interrupt your evening to make a heartfelt request -- please...

1. Go to this thread: www.debate.org/forums/debate.org/topic/78495/
2. Make a new post
3. Type "Vote Wylted/Thett"
4. Bold the text
5. Submit the post

It will take you *at most* 10 seconds, and you have absolutely *nothing* to lose from it. The religion forum is completely and utterly unaffected by the antics of the president. The president has literally no power at all. You guys can continue doing whatever you've been doing as you always have -- voting for Wylted/Thett will just provide a lot of entertainment for members who are active outside of the religion forum.

So please. Do this. You can bring a lot of people a lot of joy with virtually no effort. Regardless of your beliefs regarding God and objective morality, you all can certainly agree that this isn't too much to ask.

Thanks!

Yeah exactly. You had nothing to lose from voting for Wylted. All that would have happened is that everyone would have had a good laugh. Absolutely nothing to lose, and you're still trying to deprive us of our fun. That's kinda sadistic lol.

That's not correct, Romanii. If you vote for one candidate you will lose the opportunity to vote for another candidate, register an abstention, express indifference, or protest either the concept or execution of the DDO presidential system.

Well that's assuming you guys had someone else in mind you wanted to vote for. When I wrote this OP, I was under the impression that you guys weren't planning on voting at all. And voting for Wylted is pretty much the best way to express indifference or protest the concept of the presidency.

The common sense one. All the other candidates plan on just being normal presidents. Wylted is the only one doing something different. Abstaining does absolutely nothing to actually change or get rid of the presidential system. Electing an unorthodox candidate is the only option that has the potential to accomplish anything.

I guess it should not be surprising if you lose. After all, you are ignoring seventeen other forums.

By "dedicating," do you mean making useless threads and calling out other people for making "stupid" posts? You did not get my support.
