I"ve met Mormons that are truly born of the Holy Spirit, and many of them are convinced that it"s in the class of the book of Enoch or Jasher. Like the books of Enoch and Jasher one can know what the Lord would have one to know without them, but most scholars won"t deny their validity. So who"s to say. Like Enoch or Jasher it doesn"t seem to necessarily miss-guide, no one claims it does that I"ve heard of.

Did it ever occur to you that your holy book is no more or less absurd or insane than any other?

yes, all it takes is faith, which is the same excuse that every religion shares
it's the same story " i believe that this holy book is true, and nothing you can say and there is no evidence that can convince me otherwise"

part of growing up is when you stop believing in fairy tales, and actually want to know if there is any evidence to support your beliefs

Na, you have to read the bible to know of where I speak, specifically the Gospel according to John, third chapter. (KJV) After you read that, what are your beliefs that are contrary to that?

Really. Not all Catholics are born again, not all Baptists are born again, but some of them are, aren't they? So how is it that you are the expert on that? Do they use a modified version or translation of the bible? Keep in mind the book of Mormon is a separate document. Are they preaching and teaching anything (other than their own documentation of their history) outside of Jesus as the Son of God, the Word of God the Messiah that is theologically contrary to mainstream Christianity?

no not all believers are born again but the mormons are one of the least likely as they are relying on thier own good works and certainly not following the bible, the bom is more than a document...well to them , to everyone else it's a bit of a joke..

So, that maybe true about most mainstream denominations. But the world is not the judge of that, are they? The world loves itself, and its own ways, how can it be a righteous judge of someone"s faith in the Lord God in the name of Jesus Christ? The Lord looks for the faith, sees the faith, honors it, and He counts it to the ones who place their trust in Him for righteousness. No man has any say in that, nor is the judge of that.

How likely was it, that a debauchery society like Rome back in the day was going to declare the God of Jesus Christ the God to worship through out the Roman empire, after persecuting His followers for at least 200 yr"s or more?

God does look for faith, the only way to the father is the son and the mormons change who the son is...
