I think it's quite clear that people are in denial, denail of Xenu.

Atheism is god playing hide and seek with herself.

That would depend on what you think people are entitled to, Your Grittitude.

I don't think people are entitled to say they live forever when they're changing and decaying constantly even in life; to say the world is constructed morally when we ourselves and all of life are the products of billions of years of unthinkable cruelty, predation and chance; to say they are privy to secret, higher truths when they don't even comprehend the world they live in... so it's neither self-denying nor especially self-sacrificing to uphold that people should be able to live in a world where they're not systematically lied to and manipulated by the cruel, ignorance and conceited.

Really, it serves everyone to hold that people ought to be diligent, honest, accountable and transparent whenever they claim some sort of truth. It's neither self-sacrificing nor self-serving.

Just decent.

Not at all. Atheism is the acceptance of reality in my view. It is theists who deny reality. That death is death and that is the end. It's a tough thing for a human to comprehend and generally not a nice thought so many people choose to look for alternative answers where their life could potentially be eternal and the next life is better.

What is reality? We can't even figure out the actions of atoms and basic quantum laws because they go over physicists' heads. What reality? We don't even know the fundamentals of reality.

Reality is simply what is known. Most things can be known while as you point out some cannot. Atheism does not speculate on the unknown or unprovable things but looks at the proven, known things and comes to a logical conclusion.
