Evidence Of Creation From Nature

Nature Reveals God's Power

Even a child can see stars at night." But who has the power necessary to put them there?

A small reflection of the power of our Creator is seen in the thousands of stars"shining in the night sky. Galaxies are millions of stars packed close together. And billions of galaxies fill the universe. The amount of power displayed in the heavens is overwhelming, if we take the time to look up at night and think about it. This reveals"God's power at the cosmic level.

Everyone can appreciate sun-power." The sun lights our days so we can see nature all around us." (Even a blind person can feel the warmth of the sun.)

Our sun and other stars are bright because they radiate energy, both visible and invisible." Some of this energy"radiating from the sun is needed, directly and indirectly, to power all life forms on earth. Some of the other energy, also very powerful,"is harmful to life.R32;R32;The energy that is useful to life is a very small part of the spectrum. That part is also the part that we can see. Due to our Creator"s laws of physics, visible light is the best energy for the chemical reactions of life.

Unlike high-energy radiation, such as x-rays and gamma rays (which harm living cells), visible light enables human eyes to see, plus it powers plant growth, the foundation of all food chains on earth." Even the energetic behavior of little bugs ultimately depends on" sun-power.R32;R32;God's power extends from wonders great and small that we can observe in our awesome universe, like the sun and stars (which look small to us, yet are huge in actual size).

Nature Reveals God's Presence

God's presence can be detected even in the most commonplace substances, like water." All of us have physical bodies that are mostly water!" God provides the water for life." Our planet is close enough to the sun to provide the liquid water that is necessary for life." But if it were just a little farther away, all that water would become ice!R32;R32;

While water itself is a very small molecule (just a three-atom unit of hydrogen and oxygen) it is a primary ingredient of our planet." God's design of how water's specific molecules behave (and the impact water has on our entire planet) is an example of God's creative design and custodial presence, even on the smallest and largest scales.

R32;R32;Water expands when it freezes, unlike most other substances. Ice and snow take up more volume than the same"amount of liquid water. This makes water denser as a liquid than when frozen, so ice floats.R32;R32;

If ice did not float on the surface of the water, the floors of oceans and lakes would be covered with glaciers of ice that would"never melt. Surface ice also"helps regulate the climate by reflecting energy.R32;R32;

As a liquid, water"s temperature range is perfect for cycling water from the oceans to the land. Water requires"a lot of energy to evaporate into a vapor and it releases this energy when it condenses back into liquid. This balances temperatures in the earth"s climate, as well as inside living cells. If less energy were required for evaporation, then streams, rivers, and lakes would evaporate away quickly.R32;R32;

Beautiful clouds and sunsets inspire praise for the Creator who forms them. Because God's creative presence is shown in even commonplace yet needful things, we are blessed by the huge quantities of water that flow through our biosphere.

Nature Reveals God's Protection

Our bodies need many forms of protection, from exotic dangers (such as rocks falling from space) to the mundane (such as temperature control).

R32;R32;If the earth had a thinner atmosphere, our planet would be hit with incoming rocks and harmful radiation. Mercury, Pluto, and the moon have almost no air at all. Their surfaces are scarred with craters from the impacts of giant boulders, little pebbles, and small grains of sand. The surfaces of these planets are very hot when facing the sun and very cold when facing away. If earth had a thicker atmosphere, our planet would be boiling hot. The weight of the atmosphere on"Venus and the "gas giant" planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune)"is very heavy. On Venus, for instance, the surface pressure is 90 times that of earth! The surface pressure of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are even higher.R32;R32;

Earth has the right mixture of nitrogen and oxygen in its atmosphere. Venus and the gas giants have the wrong kind of gases for humans (or any other life forms) to survive there. Venus is mostly carbon dioxide. The gas giants are mostly hydrogen and helium. The other planets have little or no "air" at all."Truly, the very air we breathe is an invisible yet universal witness to God's protective providence.

R32;R32;Sunlight reaches us through our transparent atmosphere. Even though we can see through it, our atmosphere is also a filter."It allows in the sun's radiation that is useful to life, but blocks the radiation that is harmful to life. Only a fraction of the radio waves and some of the visible light and infrared radiations are blocked, but almost all of the harmful ultraviolet rays,"x-rays and gamma rays never reach us.R32;R32;

We have been given an atmosphere that protects us. It provides"just the right amount of air and warmth we need. It allows the sunlight to reach the plants that feed us. Our transparent atmosphere not only protects us, but it allows us to the see the stars and wonder at the heavens. The question is: are these marvelous devices merely accidents, or are they evidence of incredible design by a Creator?

Nature Reveals God's Provision

God provides everything we need. Consider this: why does the earth provide edible food in the first place?" If the planting and harvesting of crops were not so commonplace, we would (or should) regard growing cycles of corn, beans, fruit trees, potatoes, or any other plant as amazing miracles.

The sun's energy warms our planet. Hot air blows from areas heated by the sun to cooler areas. The sun's energy brings rain. Water evaporates from the ocean and falls to the land as it cools. The sun powers the winds that move the water vapor to the land. The sun's energy renews air. With our sun's energy, plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen. The sun's energy grows food. Plants capture sunlight and store it in sugar, starch, and fat.R32;R32;Many other stars are too hot to support life.

Many are too cold. Some vary from hot to cold too much. Some stars are too big and some are too small. Our sun is one of the few types that is ideally suited to support"life. It has the right brightness and variability. It radiates the right range of energy in the right amounts. Most stars in the universe are not perfectly balanced for life, but our sun is.R32;R32;

There are thousands of examples of an integrated and purposeful plan for provision through the flora and fauna of our planet." Everywhere one looks, if one really tries to understand what is going on, it is easy to see an Intelligent Designer behind the common, everyday occurences of our world.
(Matthew 24:14:) And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

The Kingdom message is reaching all corners of the globe. In 2010 alone, Jehovah"s Witnesses spent over 1.6 billion hours proclaiming this good news in 236 lands. Over the past decade, they have produced and distributed more than 20 billion items of literature.

Nature Reveals God's Wisdom

Wisdom enables us to understand reality." Through wisdom we have discovered a set of scientific laws that elegantly express reality in the language of mathematics."Whenever man learns the logic of the universe, man is (in essence) "thinking God's thoughts after Him.""A correct "understanding" of understanding, therefore, is that we humans discover (and implement) wisdom; we do not invent it.

In particular, the cause of our universe coming into being, and of its continuing to operate as it does, is a dynamic display of the Creator's wisdom, some of which we can scientifically discover and understand." When we do, it is like walking in the footprints of someone who previously walked through a snowdrift.

The unfathomable amount of applied knowledge (wisdom) that was used to invent the universe, and to pre-program its interactive workings, is a source of beyond-the-imagination wonder (omniscience?)." David the psalmist asked, in light of the stupendous power and quantity displayed in the heavens, "what is man," that God is mindful of him? (Psalm 8:3-4).

How could a creature such as a human begin to comprehend the wisdom built into the interactive universe? To the extent that we humans have any wisdom at all, much less the wisdom necessary to understand a meaningful amount of the universe's workings, our understanding is itself more amazing than the physics of the universe! For how can an immaterial mind, residing inside a "bone-house" human body made of water and other constituent elements of the earth, comprehend anything?

As discussed in the Cause and Effect Section, it is only by God's creative grace that human creatures like us can think any thoughts at all, much less thoughts that are logical and analytical enough to be called "scientific." Because God's wisdom is displayed in the universe itself, and also in our human ability to comprehend that universe, we owe our great Creator-God an ongoing debt of creaturely thanksgiving.

2 Corinthians 4:4

among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

1. But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3. having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4. betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5. having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

We must try our best to help out our fellow humans and to love God as Jesus commanded.

We need to try and avoid harmful practices such as: Sexual immorality, Greed, Arrogance, Hatred, Selfishness, Anger, Jealousy etc etc

We must try and promote values of righteousness including:Love, Honour, Dignity, Loyalty, Humility, Integrity, and most importantly help out your fellow humans.

Define sexual immorality and from whence you get your alleged morals.

AKA "men will do what you don't want them to do, but don't let that stop you in your quest to make them do what you want them to do...".

I don't mind a "complexity of nature" argument, but at least be honest in where it points, bro.
Here we have an advocate for Islamic arranged marriages demonstrating that children can consent to sex.

I would like to ask you a few simple questions in regards to your beliefs. Is there anything I could show/tell you that would have you change your mind about the existence of God? If you grew up in a different part of the world, where your religion doesn't exist, would you still find your current God? If yes, how could you possibly know that? And how do you know your God is the right God? There are so many other religions. Please elaborate as much as possible. Thank you.

Yeah we have heard all this before, it's easy to see intelligent design when you are selective with the facts, don't apply critical thinking skills plus add a good dose of rhetoric.

For example you use the well it's just right for us argument, you don't factor in the necessary pre-condition of say something living finding it's self in an environment which allows for it's existence.

In other words any living thing whether it's the product of intelligent design or not will find it's self in an environment that allows for it's existence after the fact, to then turn around and claim well golly it's just right for me, there is a joke about a puddle and the hole it finds it's self in.

You also have not factored in the struggle for survival, this makes a mockery of your Gods protective provision claim.

That which survives gets to live another day, that which does not die, that includes entire species.

I suggest you ponder all the dead humans as well as species which have since gone extinct, and how it's only a small niche of mammals eg humans, the ones who got to live for a while who decide to tell them selves such stories, wow look how wonderful it all is, truly it is the work of God..............of course they will die too.

So too help you balance out your oh isn't it all so wonderful praise be to the creator God of nature here is some reading material small pox.

Hello Timothy. No there is not.. I've always believed in a Creator. However I questioned his motives since the world suffers from so much evil.

But now i've got the answers to why evil plagues the earth. So I have no reason to doubt Jehovah. I still get upset from time to time when I catch a glance of the news. But my understanding prevents me from becoming mad with God..

That's a question I can't answer with certainty.. However the Jehovah's Witnesses are now spreading the good news in over 236 lands across the globe. So i'd like to say I would have heard of it and still found the true God.

I believe my God is the true Creator for various reasons..

Let's start with what the bible characteristics the bible states the true religion will possess:

True religion teaches the truth that is based on the Bible, not on human philosophies. (John 4:24; 17:17)

Everything the Jehovah's Witnesses say / do is based on the bible.

True religion helps people to know God, including teaching them his name, Jehovah. (Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 42:8; John 17:3, 6)

Jehovah's Witnesses obviously spread the name of God..

True religion highlights Jesus Christ as the one through whom God grants salvation. (Acts 4:10, 12)

Check.

True religion focuses on God's Kingdom as mankind's only hope. Its members actively tell others about that Kingdom. (Matthew 10:7; 24:14)

Jehovah's Witnesses are currently one of the only religions in the world preaching about the coming of God's kingdom as Jesus instructed.

True religion promotes unselfish love. (John 13:35)

Jehovah's Witnesses teach respect for all ethnic groups and welcomes people from all races, cultures, languages, and backgrounds. Moved by love, its members do not go to war.

True religion has no paid clergy, and it does not give high-sounding religious titles to any of its members. (Matthew 23:8-12; 1 Peter 5:2, 3)

Check.

True religion is a way of life, not just a ritual or a formality. Its members adhere to the Bible's high moral standards in all aspects of life. (Ephesians 5:3-5; 1 John 3:18)

Alot of religions talk a good talk but don't actually apply anything they teach. Jehovah's Witnesses adhere to all rules.

True religion is completely neutral in political affairs. (John 17:16; 18:36)

However, its members respect and obey the government where they live, in harmony with the Bible's command: "Pay back Caesar's things to Caesar [representing the civil authority], but God's things to God."

Those who practice true religion will be in the minority. (Matthew 7:13, 14)"

Although the Jehovah's Witnesses are currently growing at rapid rates. We're still a "minority" in the grand scale of things.

R32;Members of the true religion are often looked down on, ridiculed, and persecuted for doing God's will. (Matthew 5:10-12.)

Just look around any forum post made by me.. People call me stupid and call my religion a work of evil..

Now let's go to a personal experience. When I tried to quit smoking on my own, I was pulling my hair out within a few days.. I recently tried again and said a heartfelt prayer to Jehovah asking for help, I never smoked again.. And didn't even crave a cigarette.

All I can suggest is that you check out the following website:
https://www.jw.org...

Have a peruse of the various topics that interest you, and see if you find the information logical..

And if you still don't believe. Then i'm sure you would concur that we must try our best to love our fellow humans as Jesus commanded.

If everyone deployed such traits in their lives. The world would be a awesome place to live..

Hope I answered you questions buddy, have a nice day.
