There is around 4200 varying religions in todays world. Some ore main stream, meaning they stem from the Roman Catholic versions of events, and they include many pagan practices that are totally contrary to the Bible teachings that should determine what a Christian is or should be.

The most attacked group of dedicated people are the Jehovah's Witnesses, but that is what they expect, and will put up with t he accusations knowing that they alone are God's people.

We know that when you tell the truth you have nothing to cover up. What other religion could honestly say that about themselves?

The JW's have misinterpreted the scriptures at times, but they always admit to being wrong when the correction is made. They are not perfect, and they know they will not be perfect until God restores the earth to a paradise as he promised to do for Adam and Eve.

The JWs will continue to defend their truth and others will scowl and rage and rant but without proof, at the continued revelations on the earth's now very short future.

The JW organization does not go for forums like these as they feel that they are 'casting pearls before swine' and that very few, if any will learn about Jehovah in this manner.

You will go crazier than you are already trying to disprove the JWs learning, but keep it up, it makes for a good laugh sometimes when lies are told a bout what the JWs believe.

Here's a thought, JW's won't get attacked anywhere near as often if they stopped going to peoples houses and evangelizing. Try it, you'll see it works.

We know that when you tell the truth you have nothing to cover up. What other religion could honestly say that about themselves?

All other religions say that.

The JW's have misinterpreted the scriptures at times, but they always admit to being wrong when the correction is made. They are not perfect, and they know they will not be perfect until God restores the earth to a paradise as he promised to do for Adam and Eve.

The Genesis story is not considered correct, why haven't the JW's admitted to being wrong about that?

The JWs will continue to defend their truth and others will scowl and rage and rant but without proof, at the continued revelations on the earth's now very short future.

No one will scowl and rage and rant if you don't go to their houses and evangelize.

The JW organization does not go for forums like these as they feel that they are 'casting pearls before swine' and that very few, if any will learn about Jehovah in this manner.

And yet, here you are casting pearls before swine.

You will go crazier than you are already trying to disprove the JWs learning, but keep it up, it makes for a good laugh sometimes when lies are told a bout what the JWs believe.

No one really cares what the JW's believe, and we would really, really, really like to keep it that way, but unfortunately, those pesky JW's keep going to everyone's house and telling us what they believe.

Seems like the vast majority of the problems you describe with the JW's is that that they bring those problems upon themselves by going to peoples houses and causing that conflict. Just stop and your problems with disappear. Simple, really.

Of course we know God's name> He revealed his name to Moses in Exodus 3: 14; when he said, "I am who I am, you must tell the Israelites, 'The one who is called I AM has sent me to you."

But you JW's are to afraid to use Gods name in English, you prefer the Hebrew word for "Who I AM."

So get behind me JW's, all priests, and all shams

I get the impression you don't like the JW's going to houses.

I love them coming to my place, they inevitably run away with their tails between their legs, promising to return with answers to the questions that were put to them, questions that the JW's cannot answer.

Well, ain't you clever....I'm not a JW but give me some of your questions, it is easy to get answers.

The two greater cherubim within the Holy of Holies, whose outstretched wings cover the ark of the covenant upon the lid of which are two smaller cherubim, please reveal the image in which those cherubim are depicted, and where in the bible does it reveal the image of those cherubim, which are the representations of the chariot of God?

In 1st Samuel 17: 12; it is said that Jesse had 8 sons, but in 1st Chronicles 2: 12; the names of only 7 are recorded. Please reveal the name of that other son and where in the Bible is he revealed?

In Revelation 7: 4-8; the 144000 chosen ones are sealed on their foreheads, 12000 are chose from each of the twelve tribes, but there are none from the tribe of Dan. Please reveal why the tribe of Dan is not counted among the chosen ones, and where in the Holy Scriptures, do we find the reason why they are missing?

From JW,org Does this help. I don't know anything a b out your question.

ARK OF THE COVENANT

The sacred chest located in the Most Holy of the tabernacle and, later, in the temple built by Solomon. The Ark was made at Jehovah"s command and according to his design.

Bible writers designate the ark of the covenant in more than 20 different ways. The more common of these expressions, "the ark of the covenant [Heb., F0;arohnE7; hab"berithE7;; Gr., ki"bo"tosE7; tes di"a"theE7;kes]" (Jos 3:6; Heb 9:4) and "the ark of the testimony" (Ex 25:22), are not peculiar to any certain writer and are used interchangeably.

Pattern and Design. The first thing Jehovah gave Moses, when instructing him to build the tabernacle, was the pattern and design of the Ark, for indeed it was the central and paramount object of the tabernacle and the whole camp of Israel. The chest itself measured 2.5 cubits long, 1.5 cubits wide, and 1.5 cubits high (c. 111 " 67 " 67 cm; 44 " 26 " 26 in.). It was made of acacia wood, overlaid inside and out with pure gold. An artistic "border of gold" served as a crowning wreath "round about upon it." The second section of the Ark, its cover, was made of solid gold, not just wood overlaid with gold, and was the full length and breadth of the chest. Mounted on this cover were two golden cherubs of hammered workmanship, one at each end of the cover facing each other, with heads bowed and wings extending upward and overspreading the Ark. (Ex 25:10, 11, 17-22; 37:6-9) This cover was also known as the "mercy seat" or "propitiatory cover.""Ex 25:17; Heb 9:5, ftn; see PROPITIATORY COVER.

Long poles were provided for carrying the Ark. They were also made of acacia wood covered with gold and were inserted through two rings of gold on each side of the chest. These poles were not to be removed from their rings; hence there was never a necessity for bearers of the Ark to touch it. There were four feet, "walking feet, feet bent as if for walking," located at the corners to raise the Ark off the floor, but how high is not disclosed. (Commentary on the Old Testament, by C. F. Keil and F. Delitzsch, 1973, Vol. 1, The Second Book of Moses, p. 167) The rings may have been mounted immediately above the feet, if not on the feet themselves."Ex 25:12-16; Nu 4:5, 15; 1Ki 8:8; 1Ch 15:15.

Inauguration and Use. Bezalel and the wisehearted ones assisting him followed the plans explicitly, constructing the Ark from the materials contributed by the people. (Ex 35:5, 7, 10, 12; 37:1-9) When the tabernacle was completed and set up a year after the Exodus, Moses took the two stone tablets of the Law and put them into the Ark. (Deuteronomy 10:1-5 indicates that a temporary ark made of acacia wood housed the tablets during only the few months" interval from the time Moses received them in the mountain until they were transferred to the Ark made by Bezalel.) Next, Moses inserted the poles in the rings of the Ark, laid the cover on, brought it into the tent, and put up the screen that was to separate the Holy from the Most Holy. Then, as part of the inauguration ceremony, Moses anointed the Ark and all other furnishings with oil. From then on, when the priests disassembled the tabernacle to move camp, the same dividing screen, together with additional sealskins and blue cloth, was used to cover the Ark to prevent the people from looking upon it "for the least moment of time, lest they die.""Ex 40:3, 9, 20, 21; Nu 3:30, 31; 4:5, 6, 19, 20; 7:9; De 10:8; 31:9; see TABERNACLE.

The Ark served as a holy archive for the safekeeping of sacred reminders or testimony, the principal contents being the two tablets of the testimony, or the Ten Commandments. (Ex 25:16) A "golden jar having the manna and the rod of Aaron that budded" were added to the Ark but were later removed sometime before the building of Solomon"s temple. (Heb 9:4; Ex 16:32-34; Nu 17:10; 1Ki 8:9; 2Ch 5:10) Just before Moses died, he gave a copy of the "book of the law" to the Levitical priests with instructions that it should be kept, not within, but "at the side of the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, . . . as a witness there against you.""De 31:24-26.

Associated with God"s presence. The Ark was associated with God"s presence throughout its history. Jehovah promised: "I will present myself to you there and speak with you from above the cover, from between the two cherubs that are upon the ark of the testimony." "In a cloud I shall appear over the cover." (Ex 25:22; Le 16:2) Samuel wrote that Jehovah "is sitting upon the cherubs" (1Sa 4:4); hence the cherubs served as "the representation of the chariot" of Jehovah. (1Ch 28:18) Accordingly, "whenever Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with [Jehovah], then he would hear the voice conversing with him from above the cover that was upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubs; and he would speak to him." (Nu 7:89) Later, Joshua and High Priest Phinehas also inquired of Jehovah before the Ark. (Jos 7:6-10; Jg 20:27, 28) However, only the high priest actually entered the Most Holy and saw the Ark, one day a year, not to communicate with Jehovah, but in carrying out the Atonement Day ceremony."Le 16:2, 3, 13, 15, 17; Heb 9:7.

In other ways the presence of Jehovah as represented by the Ark brought blessings to Israel. It was customary when Israel moved camp for the Ark with its overhead cloud to lead the way. (Nu 10:33, 34) So, at the crossing of the Jordan, when the priests carrying the Ark stepped into the river"s water, Jehovah stopped its flow, allowing them to pass. (Jos 3:1"4:18) In the line of march around Jericho, the war-equipped forces were followed by seven priests blowing horns, then the Ark, and behind was the rear guard. (Jos 6:3-13) In contrast to the victory at Jericho was the defeat suffered when certain rebels presumptuously pushed ahead in an attempt to take the Promised Land contrary to divine instructions, and when "the ark of Jehovah"s covenant and Moses did not move away from the midst of the camp." (Nu 14:44, 45) Even the enemy Philistines recognized the presence of Jehovah when the Ark appeared on the battlefield. In their fright they cried out: "God has come into the camp [of Israel]!" "Woe to us, for such a thing as this never occurred before! Woe to us! Who will save us from the hand of this majestic God? This is the God that was the smiter of Egypt with every sort of slaughter in the wilderness.""1Sa 4:6-8.

Jehovah"s presence continued to be demonstrated when the Philistines captured the Ark and took it to Ashdod to sit alongside the image of Dagon. That night, Dagon fell on his face; the next night he again toppled before the ark of Jehovah and his head and the palms of both of his hands were cut off. During the next seven months, as the Ark circulated among the Philistine cities, the people were plagued with piles, and the city of Ekron was plunged into "a death-dealing confusion," until finally the Ark was returned to Israel with proper offering."1Sa 5:1"6:12.

The fact that the Ark was associated with the presence of Jehovah demanded that due respect and high regard be given the Ark. Hence, when the Ark set out on the move and when it came to rest, Moses proclaimed words of praise to Jehovah. (Nu 10:35, 36) High Priest Eli was so shocked to hear that the Philistines had captured the Ark that he lost his balance and fell over backward, breaking his neck; also his daughter-in-law in the throes of death lamented, "Glory has gone away from Israel into exile, because the ark of the true God has been captured." (1Sa 4:18-22) King Solomon acknowledged that "the places to which the ark of Jehovah has come are something holy.""2Ch 8:11.

Not a magic charm. However, the Ark was not a magic charm. Its presence alone did not guarantee success; Jehovah"s blessings depended on the spiritual standing and faithful obedience of those possessing the Ark. Hence, the Israelites under the le

JESSE

(JesE7;se) [shortened form of Isshiah, meaning "Jehovah Makes Forget"; or, possibly, a shortened form of Abishai].

Father of King David of the tribe of Judah; grandson of Ruth and Boaz and a link in the genealogical line from Abraham to Jesus. (Ru 4:17, 22; Mt 1:5, 6; Lu 3:31, 32) Jesse fathered eight sons, one of whom apparently died before producing any sons of his own, which may account for the omission of his name from the genealogies of Chronicles. (1Sa 16:10, 11; 17:12; 1Ch 2:12-15) The two sisters of David, Abigail and Zeruiah, are nowhere called Jesse"s daughters, but one is called "the daughter of Nahash." (1Ch 2:16, 17; 2Sa 17:25) It may be that Nahash was the former husband of Jesse"s wife, making her girls half sisters to Jesse"s sons, unless Nahash is another name for Jesse, or even the name of his wife, as some have suggested.

Jesse was a sheep owner living at Bethlehem. After King Saul turned away from true worship, Jehovah sent Samuel to Jesse"s home to anoint one of his sons as king. Jesse brought in the seven older boys, but when Jehovah chose none of these Jesse was obliged to call his youngest son David from pasturing the sheep; this son was Jehovah"s choice."1Sa 16:1-13.

When Saul summoned David to play the soothing harp for him, aged Jesse sent along a generous gift and later granted permission for David to remain some time in attendance at Saul"s court. (1Sa 16:17-23; 17:12) Later, when it appears that David was back again tending the sheep, Jesse sent him with some provisions for the three oldest boys, who were in Saul"s army. (1Sa 17:13, 15, 17, 18, 20) During the time David was outlawed by Saul, Jesse and his wife were given asylum in Moab."1Sa 22:3, 4.

Often David is called "the son of Jesse," disparagingly, by persons such as Saul, Doeg, Nabal, and Sheba (1Sa 20:27, 30, 31; 22:7-9, 13; 25:10; 2Sa 20:1; 1Ki 12:16; 2Ch 10:16), but more respectfully in other instances, for example, by David himself, Ezra, and Jehovah God."1Sa 16:18; 17:58; 2Sa 23:1; 1Ch 10:14; 12:18; 29:26; Ps 72:20; Lu 3:32; Ac 13:22.

The prophetic promise that "the root of Jesse" would "stand up as a signal for the peoples" and would judge in righteousness finds fulfillment in Christ Jesus, the one who, because he is immortal, keeps the genealogical line of Jesse alive."Isa 11:1-5, 10; Ro 15:8, 12.

Look up the other question yourself at JW.org. I wonder why the JWs would run with tail between legs at these questions, it does help if one knows how they were presented. I would suggest that you purposely used difficult questions to make a big note of yourself.

Why did't you ask: If God is omnipotent could He build a rock that big that He couldn't lift it? It would meet with the same evacuation of the decent JW's who would be equally frightened of your mental status.

Nice cut and past job, but no description of the cherubim, or where in the bible, their description is found. Question not answered.

Look up the other question yourself at JW.org. I wonder why the JWs would run with tail between legs at these questions, it does help if one knows how they were presented. I would suggest that you purposely used difficult questions to make a big note of yourself.

Another nice cut and paste job, but no answer to the question, "What is the name of Jesse's eighth son and where is his name found in the scriptures.

So you cannot reveal in what form the cherubim on the ark were depicted, nor where their description is found in scripture. Nor can you reveal the name of the eighth son of Jesse, or where his name is found in scripture.

Like all JW's you are a scriptural ignoramus.

They only appear to be difficult questions to biblical ignoramus's, any serious student of the Holy Scriptures should know the answers, which obviously rules you out and the JW source from which you copied and pasted your drawn out posts that could not answer the questions put to you.

Nah! I prefer to ask simple questions that are answered in the scriptures, to which you and your JW mates are totally blind.

Thank you for revealing to all who follow this thread, just how ignorant you are to the truths as revealed in the bible?

I wont bother to push the issue of why the tribe of Dan is not mentioned in Revelation 7: 5-8; Knowing that the answer would be far beyond your mental capabilities to comprehend.

Would you like some easier questions perhaps?

The JW organization does not go for forums like these as they feel that they are 'casting pearls before swine' and that very few, if any will learn about Jehovah in this manner.

Not entirely true.

Some JWs do come on here from time to time to defend Jehovah's name and his word.

However they are also relatively choosey who they get into conversations with because of the scripture you quote but don't cite Matthew 7:6.

In the terms of that scripture there are many on here who would be classified as just that on here because their only purpose is to mock, either God's people, or believers of any sort. They simply want to appear more intelligent than believers and thereby prove that they are not.

You will go crazier than you are already trying to disprove the JWs learning, but keep it up, it makes for a good laugh sometimes when lies are told a bout what the JWs believe.

No-one likes a joke against the JWs more than the JWs themselves.

That is because it mens little to them. They know that Jehovah has ceded judgement to his son, and there is a great deal of scriptural evidence how he reacts to any who mock his father or those that support him.

Those who mock, or criticise what the JWs teach would do well to remember the wise words of Gamaliel to the Sanhedrin, as quoted at Acts 5:38, 39 (NWT)
38 So under the present circumstances, I say to you, do not meddle with these men, but let them alone. For if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; 39 but if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them. Otherwise, you may even be found fighters against God himself."

Jehovah is already overthrowing the beliefs of all who oppose his people through the a activity of his son, and the use of his word.

The time will come, and it will be soon, when he will allow Satan's governments to turn on all religion, and will only step in when they turn on Jehovah's own people, under his son's rule.

When that happens, he will send his son and all the Angels to fulfil Daniel 2:44 as well as sweeping up the remans of all but his faithful followers.

Thus the earth will be cleansed of all "false prophets" as well as all human Governments.

The interesting aspect of that is that Jehovah will, as he has done in the past, use Satan's own forces to do most of the work of destroying Satan's own fake religions before Jehovah's son is allowed to sweep up what is left.

He did it when he used Babylon against unfaithful Israel, and again when he used Assyria against them, and lastly when he used Rome against unfaithful Judah.

Nothing beats using Satan's own forces against him, it is a demonstration of Jehovah's absolute power that he can so easily do so.

The only question you need to ask is, do you want to be found fighting no God's side, or against him?

Yeah we can see his efforts, nowhere.

Yeah just like he did in 1914 and a myriad other years since, I'm glad you're scared.
When that happens, he will send his son and all the Angels to fulfil Daniel 2:44 as well as sweeping up the remans of all but his faithful followers.
His angels carrying fluffy swords, ooh I'm shakin'.

He claimed he was gonna do that many times, does he have Alzheimers?

Just like he did in 1914 and all those other dates. Bet you're not game enough to stop eating and drinking till it happens.

Don't forget 1914.

Yeah he frightened the bejebus out of them Martians in 1914, wrong bloody planet Mick.

Based on previous attempts, against looks like the winner.

There is around 4200 varying religions in todays world. Some ore main stream, meaning they stem from the Roman Catholic versions of events, and they include many pagan practices that are totally contrary to the Bible teachings that should determine what a Christian is or should be.

We know that when you tell the truth you have nothing to cover up. What other religion could honestly say that about themselves?

The answer is simple and obvious, the side of peace, which is neither one of those options.

Nice cut and past job, but no description of the cherubim, or where in the bible, their description is found. Question not answered.

I am not sure what it is you are looking for, if you can't find it, with all your cleverness, why would you expect others to find it...What is the significance of your question?

Look up the other question yourself at JW.org. I wonder why the JWs would run with tail between legs at these questions, it does help if one knows how they were presented. I would suggest that you purposely used difficult questions to make a big note of yourself.

They only appear to be difficult questions to biblical ignoramus's, any serious student of the Holy Scriptures should know the answers, which obviously rules you out and the JW source from which you copied and pasted your drawn out posts that could not answer the questions put to you.

Why didn't you ask: If God is omnipotent could He build a rock that big that He couldn't lift it? It would meet with the same evacuation of the decent JW's who would be equally frightened of your mental status.

I told you that I am not a JW, I would not insult this truthful organization with an accusation like that, but I do show respect to them and their teachings.

I find JW.org to be the only place outside the Bible itself that there are scripturally backed answers to be found. I appreciate that you have hate mist in your eyes, and could not see that fact...That is your problem.

To call me an ignoramus i typical of your ilk, I do not profess to be the wonderful know-it-all that you sprout on about.

As far as your, not yet shown knowledge of the question in this post, why don't you come out with your wonderful revelations on the Bible, maybe God will employ you as an interpreter.

The challenge: Answer your own question here, I will pursue you answers with keen interest, if they are interesting.
