The bible story doesn't say. We can only speculate they were written in whatever language Moses spoke.
They are fictional anyway since there is no evidence of the existence of the stone tablets.

I'm well aware that the story is fictional but the questioned was framed more for those who think it's real.

They don't have scriptural answers for most things, it doesn't stop them fabricating answers usually.

I mean seriously, what was the language that supposedly provided the "ten" commandments and who translated them since they allegedly disappeared when the Ark did.

God promised to write the replacement commandments and then reneged and made Moshe do it anyway. So what language did Moshe write the revised tablets in?

It was written in an ancient language know as "Gorditit". The language is still thriving to this day.

That is hilarious. Is it the same language the Holy Spirit speaks when he tells his servants the mysteries and secrets of the scriptures and causes them all to disagree with each other?

It would seem that it's impossible to get our godbotherers to even consider this question.

What language do you think the Moses character spoke?

The only written language in and around that time and place was Egyptian Hieroglyphics. Hebrew wasn't formulated until several hundred years later.

11 Maccabees 2: 1-8; <strong>"In the records it will be found that Jeremiah the prophet ordered the deportees to take some of the fire with them as indicated, and that the prophet, in giving them the law, directed the deportees not to forget the commandments of the Lord or be led astray in their thoughts, when seeing the gold and silver idols and their adornments. With other similar words he exhorted them that the law should not depart from their hearts.

The same document also tells how the prophet, in virtue of an oracle, ordered that the tent and the ark should accompany him, and how he went to the very mountain that Moses climbed to behold God"s inheritance. When Jeremiah arrived there, he found a chamber in a cave in which he put the tent, the ark, and the altar of incense; then he sealed the entrance.

Some of those who followed him came up intending to mark the path, but they could not find it. When Jeremiah heard of this, he reproved them: "The place is to remain unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows them mercy.

Then the Lord will disclose these things, and the glory of the Lord and the cloud will be seen, just as they appeared in the time of Moses and of Solomon when he prayed that the place might be greatly sanctified."

When the stone tablets which are stored in the ark of the covenant are soon to be revealed, then you will know in what language they were inscribed.

There's all kinds of claims as to who possesses the Ark and where it resides. Yours is but one of them. And, since there's actually no trace of the Ark, it's existence is also in question.

It doesn't matter, Scriptures was written a long time ago, and since then, the Ark has apparently moved, to where, is the question.

And those scriptures which have not yet been fulfilled still hold true today, which scriptures tell us how the prophet, in virtue of an oracle, ordered that the tent and the "ARK" should accompany him, and how he went to the very mountain that Moses climbed to behold God's inheritance. When Jeremiah arrived there, he found a chamber in a cave in which he put the tent, the "ARK," and the altar of incense; then he sealed the entrance, where they remain to this very day.

And, the ark of the covenant is where exactly? If it exists?

Are you totally blind, stupid, or simply incapable of comprehending what you have just read? When Jeremiah arrived there, he found a chamber in a cave in which he put the tent ,"THE ARK", and the altar of incense; then he sealed the entrance.

There's all kinds of claims as to who possesses the Ark and where it resides. Yours is but one of them. And, since there's actually no trace of the Ark, it's existence is also in question.

And which of those other claims are supported by the Holy Scriptures?

The Ethiopians who claim to be the guardians of the ark, will not reveal the image in which the cherubs on the lid of the box are depicted, because they haven't got a clue, even though the image of the cherubs which are representative of the chariot of God, are revealed in the scriptures.
God's got a chariot? Tell him to get a Veyron.

Psalms 18: 7-15; The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry. Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it. He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet. He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind. He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him" the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning. The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded. He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning he routed them. The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at your rebuke, LORD, at the blast of breath from your nostrils.

Yeah no mention of chariots and we know what causes lightning and it ain't a fire breathing dragon. We also understand thunderstorms, they ain't divine in any way.

Did you see that muggins; "He mounted the cherubim and flew."

Again, bullpoof the greatest ignoramus to haunt this forum, reveals his stupidity and total lack of biblical knowledge once more.

1st Chronicles 28: 16-18; David also designated the gold by weight for the tables of showbread, for each table; and silver for the silver tables; and the forks, the basins, and the pitchers of pure gold; and for the golden bowls with the weight for each bowl; and for the silver bowls with the weight for each bowl; and for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; "AND GOLD FOR THE MODEL OF THE CHARIOT, EVEN THE CHERUBIM THAT SPREAD OUT THEIR WINGS AND COVERED THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD"."

"HE MOUNTED THE CHERUBIM AND FLEW:"

Good night dumb, dumb.
