This list is from http://www.watchthetower.net..., a website created by two former Jehovah's Witnesses. I removed 59-61, since they have been discontinued.

Do any JW's want to comment on whether this list has inaccuracies? Or does it represent current JW teachings?

1. God is not a Trinity; the doctrine is inspired by the Devil

I would like to debate this with a Jehovah's Witness at some point.

18. God is not omniscient

Interesting.

40. They are forbidden to have friends who are not Jehovah's Witnesses

I'm pretty sure that one is not true. I have friends who are Jehovah's Witnesses. It may be discouraged, but I don't think it's forbidden.

I count 92. not 101.

I've gone through numbers 1 to "30", and put a Bible verse there explaining why I disagree. If I've put a "---" then either it is not mentioned in the Bible, or I have no opinion.

1. God is not a Trinity; the doctrine is inspired by the Devil
John 10:30
2. Jesus Christ is a "created being," who at one time did not exist
John 1:1-2 and John 1:14-15
3. Jesus is not to be worshiped or prayed to-he is only an angel (a.k.a. Michael the archangel)
1 Timothy 2:5
4. The Holy Spirit is not a person but is "God's active force" i.e. gravity, electricity etc.
John 14:26
5. Heaven is hope only for select Jehovah's Witnesses. The majority of JWs hope to live on "paradise earth"
2 Corinthians 5:17
6. Heaven is limited only to 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses. There are only 9,105 alive today (2006 figures)
John 14:2
7. Jehovah's Witnesses are the only "true Christians." All churches and denominations are considered "false religion"
---
8. There is no Hell or eternal judgment ("Hell" is simply the grave)
Matthew 25:46
9. There is no life after death except for the 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses
See number 6
10. Salvation is earned only by being a loyal Jehovah's Witness
2 Corinthians 5:17
11. Jesus second coming happened invisibly and secretly in 1914
Revelation 1:7
12. The "first resurrection" occurred in 1918
Luke 24:13-35
13. Jesus did not rise from the dead bodily but as a spirit being
Seen no 12
14. Jesus was equal to Adam (just a man)
1 Corinthians 15:45
15. Jesus could have sinned and failed in his mission
1 Peter 2:22
16. Jesus was not born the savior but became the savior at his baptism
Luke 2:11
17. God is not omnipresent
Jeremiah 23:24
18. God is not omniscient
Jeremiah 1:5
19. JWs are not sure of their salvation
John 5:24
20. All earthly governments are controlled by the Devil
Romans 13:1
21. The Holy Spirit is only available to select Jehovah's Witnesses
John 14:15-17
22. They are forbidden to serve in the military
John 15:13
23. They are forbidden to buy Girl Scout cookies
O..K...
30. They are forbidden to celebrate any holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc.)
After seeing this I suddenly agree >> Jeremiah 10:2-4

Let's see how many responses I get!

The JW's hijacked a religion. What was happening for the better part of 2,000 years before the JW's?

The list isn't mine, but one I found. And it's a list of current beliefs, not beliefs that were once held. But yes, JW's believe we are in end times. That's the reason they give for discouraging adherents from going to college. They think it's a waste of time to do anything that does not glorify Jehovah.

Exactly, which is the problem with any religion that offers end times or an afterlife, all you get are ignorant, lazy people who could care less about the future and doing anything about planning or practical solutions, yet they are one of the first to tell you how bad things are in the world.

JW's are as big a cult as one can be a cult. Did God not need the watchtower for 1800 years? Now He does need them? Cue twilight zone music...

The Abrahamic God cult, of course. Don't you even know what cult you follow?

Nope. I never said what I followed. I could read the book of Mormon or the Urantia Bookfor all you know. I could be a break off of the JW's that has its own watchtower called the "even better watchtower".

46. They are forbidden to donate blood or their organs

Organ donation or acceptance is a matter of conscience provided no blood is used in the process.

Why would you donate blood and put the eternal lives of the recipients at risk? Or even their current lives.
Blood is bad medicine, hence the current increase in interest, even amongst the medical profession in bloodless surgery, after all there is no surgery that cannot be performed equally effectively or even more effectively without it.

47. They are forbidden to read any anti-Jehovah's Witness material

Forbidden no, but unless it is to answer something in it why would any JW want to?

48. They are forbidden to interpret the Bible without Watchtower literature to explain it

Wrong, though if you rely purely on yourself are you saying that Jehovah"s own provision is not enough for you?

You are certainly going against scripture if you do.

Watchtower literature should only be regarded as a guide to scripture. It is scripture itself which is the important thing.

49. They are forbidden to wear any Christian jewelry

Since there is no such thing as Christian Jewellery that is a moot point.

50. They are forbidden to support their country and be patriotic

Again see 22

51. They are forbidden to be involved in martial arts, boxing or wrestling

Not forbidden, no, but why would any Christian want to be involved in any form of violence?

52. They are forbidden to join any clubs or sports teams

Wrong.

53. They are forbidden to participate in a school play

Depends on the play.

Nativity plays are out for obvious reason, or any other play or music with false religious content.

But otherwise no problem.

54. They are forbidden to use any tobacco products

Again that comes under defilement of the flesh.

55. They are forbidden to attend the funeral of an ex-Jehovah's Witness

I attended my mothers, but there was no religious content whatever n it so that was no problem. My father was buried in a churchyard and had a church service so I waited outside the church ut joined the gathering at the graveside, though not in the prayers.

56. They are forbidden to say "good luck"

Scripture means we should not "set a table for the God of good luck" though most think it is a goddess, lol. But no they are not banned from saying good luck as such. However few would do so, they generally say something else similar but not involving the word "luck". "Hope you have success" for instance.

57. They are forbidden to be a police officer

See 22 again.

58. Women are forbidden pray in the presence of men without a hat or head covering

Wrong.

The principle in scripture says that if a woman is taking the role normally associated with a man and there is a man present they should wear a head covering. However that really only applies to taking the lead in public or group prayer.

For instance, before I was baptised, if I went to a meeting for field service, and there was no baptised brother present a Sister would have to take the lead, and generally she would simply drape a tea towel over her head to do so. If there were only sisters present she would not need to.

62. They must read and study Watchtower literature regularly

All JWs are encouraged to study the Bible regularly, and that includes reading it over and over again from cover to cover.

There is also a weekly Watchtower study at the Kingdom Hall in which all are invited to have a part, which means preparation.

63. They must go from door to door weekly to gain converts

Again not true.

However any JW who is not able to report at least 1 hour a month in some form of the ministry is counted as inactive. It does not need to be I the door to door ministry.

The important thing to remember though s that Jesus taught his disciples to do that, but then there were few alternatives back them.

However think back to the parable of the 10 talents. What are you going to do with your 10? Are you going to use the help you have been given productively, to gather with Christ, or not?

64. They must attend five meetings per week

Again must is a bit strong.

There is no compulsion to attend any, but the Elders would soon start worrying about the spiritual health of any who didn"t at last turn up for the two on Sunday.

Incidentally there are only 4 meetings each week now. The Watchtower and public talk on Sunday and the book study and school on either Tuesday or Thursday depending on hall availability.

That can be a problem since anything up to three Congregations may be sharing the same Hall in some areas.

65. Only officially approved sexual practices are allowed in marriage.

There is only one sexual practice banned between a fully consenting husband and wife, and that is Anal intercourse.

Anything else may be acceptable as a part of foreplay, but not as an activity on its own. Though again that is down to conscience.

66. Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Halls have no windows

Not true.

Very few Kingdom Halls are completely Windowless, though for security reasons windows are usually small and quite high.

67. If they witness another Jehovah's Witness breaking the rules they must report them to the elders to be interrogated

Again a gross exaggeration.

The first thing a JW would do if witnessing serious sin, would be to try and persuade the sinning brother to seek help from the Elders.

If that fails and the sn is serious they would then have a quiet word with the Elders.

However Elders do not, or at least are not supposed to interrogate anyone. They simply offer spiritual help.

68. They are forbidden to take a blood transfusion

Acts 15:28-29.

As Jesus said, and did, we have to be obedient to death if needs be and rey on the resurrection for protection.

As Jesus said, any not prepared to do that are likely to lose their eternal life.

After all are you saying that this second rate life is more important to you than the perect one to come?

69. Men are forbidden wear beards

Again not entirely true. Though it is not advised.

Elders especially have been encouraged to shave as an example to all brothers since the mid 1980.

That is because many people were, back then at least, incapable of takin beard wearers seriously enough. That is also the reason for the encouragement to dress at least semi-formally at meetings or in the ministry.

However I have known a number of bearded JWs, though since the mid 80s not Elders.

The official guidelines is to present yourselves as would be acceptable in a business environment.

70. The Watchtower organization is God's prophet on earth today

Not prophet as we understand prophets today.

It is Jehovah"s channel between his son and humans though, that s true.
There has only ever been one. First Patriarchs such as Abraham, then later Israel, then after Christ the "Israel of God" Galatians 6:16, which opposers called Christians. Now it is the JWs.

71. Women must submit to the authority of Watchtower elders

All whatever gender, should cooperate with the lead the Elders give. The principle is as outlined at 1 Corinthians 11:3.

72. They must forgo vacations to attend annual conventions

Again there is no must, though it is strongly advised, and I have never been able to understand why anyone wouldn't wish to. When I was a JW it was my annual holiday and I loved it.

No doubt this will take a few posts to answer with any accuracy, so please be patient with me.

This list is from http://www.watchthetower.net..., a website created by two former Jehovah's Witnesses. I removed 59-61, since they have been discontinued.

And not an entirely accurate one.
But then coming from Ex JWs it wouldn"t be. They are usually bitter that they have lost their chances.

Do any JW's want to comment on whether this list has inaccuracies? Or does it represent current JW teachings?

I will respond very briefly, but I suggest that you find out the more detailed explanations on http://www.jw.org.... After all, no-one knows what they teach better than they do.

1. God is not a Trinity; the doctrine is inspired by the Devil

True. All doctrines that do not teach the truth are inspired or influenced by Satan, and there can only be one truth.

2. Jesus Christ is a "created being," who at one time did not exist

True, as far as it goes.

Jesus was the specially created human body, created in Mary"s womb, for Jehovah"s only begotten son, Michael AKA the Word, to become incarnate in.

Michael was far from a mere Angel. He was the Archangel, and was the only one created directly by Jehovah. Everything else was created using Michael as a co-worker (Proverb 8:22; Revelation 3:14) that makes him absolutely unique, and very special also.

Have you never wondered why they are called Father and son? It is simply because they are exactly that and always have been.

3. Jesus is not to be worshipped or prayed to-he is only an angel (a.k.a. Michael the archangel)

Worship is relative, it"s basic meaning is respect, with the highest level due to Jehovah. That does not mean Christ should not be given the respect due for his absolute obedience to his father, even under great suffering as a human.

He deserves praise for his faithful role in our salvation, but his father deserves the greater praise for making it possible for him to do so. Hence the Apostles always taught that salvation comes from Jehovah through his son.

4. The Holy Spirit is not a person but is "God's active force" i.e. gravity, electricity etc.

Holy spirit is no more a person than are water, blood, the ground, the earth and wisdom, all of which are personified in scripture. The ground being sad to open its mouth for instance.

5. Heaven is hope only for select Jehovah's Witnesses. The majority of JWs hope to live on "paradise earth"
6. Heaven is limited only to 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses. There are only 9,105 alive today (2006 figures)

I have answered these las tow together since they are linked.

Christ made it clear that, as has always been the case, there is only one route to eternal life (Matthew 7:13-14) something he emphasised over and again, as did the Apostles after him.

One route, one organisation one truth, one set of teachings (John 4:23-24; 1 Corinthians 1:10).

7. Jehovah's Witnesses are the only "true Christians." All churches and denominations are considered "false religion"

There can only be one true set of Christians since there is only one set of teachings acceptable to Christ and Jehovah (see above). I believe it is the JWs, but you have to learn and judge for yourself. They have after all made it easy to judge in complete anonymity by visiting tier web site http://www.jw.org....

8. There is no Hell or eternal judgment ("Hell" is simply the grave)

That is true, and to intimate otherwise is a gross insult to Jehovah, since he is only interested in justice, not vindictive torture. Death is the one and only punishment for sin, whether that be the "firt death" the one we know now from which resurrection is possible, or the "second death" the lake of fire, which is 100% permanent.

9. There is no life after death except for the 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses

There is no life after death for any but the true worshippers of Jehovah. The fact that those are now known as Jehovah"s Witnesses, named after the ancient nation of Israel whom Jehovah called his witnesses (Isaiah 43:10, and also following Christ who is called the faithful and true Witness (Revelation 3:14). Does nto change that fact.

For the vast majority life after death will come after Armageddon, in the resurrection to perfect human life on earth, life such as Adam would have enjoyed before his sin. That holds the prospects of eternal life in perfect health on a cleansed and restored earth without the influence of Satan as well as perfect peace and security.

The 144,000 faithful followers of Jehovah and his son, will go to heaven for one purpose, and one purpose only, to rule alongside Christ. They will have been "Jehovah"s Witnesses" in deed if nto in name.

10. Salvation is earned only by being a loyal Jehovah's Witness

Salvation is earned only by being loyal and obedient to Jehovah and his son. However n these days it is only possible to achieve that loyalty as a part of Jehovah"s earthly organisation.

No-one can "earn" salvation, it is a free gift to the faithful.

11. Jesus second coming happened invisibly and secretly in 1914

Actually his second coming has turned out to be a two stage thing.

It started invisibly in heaven when he turned his attention to the earth and to the group of Bible Students his father drew to his side (John 6:44).

It will be far from invisible when the Kingdom is fully formed and fulfils Daniel"s prophecy at Daniel2:44 which will happen very visibly at Armageddon.

12. The "first resurrection" occurred in 1918

Approximately, yes. Those who had preciously died faithful, or attempting to be, will have had their resurrection starting then, any alive at the time will, if they have proved faithful, be granted their resurrection on death.

The emphasis however is placed not on simply being called Jehovah"s Witnesses, but on being loyal to Jehovah and his son up to death.

Any who do not prove faithful, Jehovah"s Witnesses or not, will not have any hope left.

13. Jesus did not rise from the dead bodily but as a spirit being

! Peter 3:18-19 tell us this, and the events of John 20 & 21, as well as Luke 24 prove it beyond doubt.

There are also legal reasons why being resurrected in natural human flesh would invalidate the sacrifice.

14. Jesus was equal to Adam (just a man)

Not "just" a man as we know men, but yes the exact equivalent of Adam with all the prospects of eternal life which Adam had n front of him.

Since Jehovah"s law demands like for like (an eye for an eye etc.) nothing less would have been acceptable.

15. Jesus could have sinned and failed in his mission

Very much so, and we would have been in a real mess then, and Jehovah would have lost his only begotten son forever.

Since Jehovah had committed himself to a set timescale there would have been no room for any second chance, and so if Jehovah couldn"t trust his only begotten son, who else could he give the job to? A lesser Angel?

No.

As Paul points out, Jehovah"s only begotten son, whilst in the flesh of Jesus had to learn obedience through the things suffered.

It was relatively easy to be obedient as the most powerful and unique spirit son of God, his father"s only begotten. But it would not be so easy as a human, with human weaknesses.

16. Jesus was not born the savior but became the savior at his baptism

Neither.

He only became out saviour by his faithful death. His birth only meant potential, his baptism showed he was willing to go for it, but only his faithful life course right to the moment of his death qualified him as our saviour.

17. God is not omnipresent

God has never left the heavens so he can hardly be omnipresent in the literal sense.

However with his vast network of spirit beings Angels (messengers), he has a complete network of watchers reporting back to him 24/7/365, so the effect is the same.

18. God is not omniscient

Jehovah has the ability to know everything he wishes to know, but that doesn"t mean he invades our privacy in order to know it. So in the strictest sense of the word, no he is not.

19. JWs are not sure of their salvation

No-one can be sure of their salvation until Christ can turn round and say "Well done good and faithful servant".

20. All earthly governments are controlled by the Devil

That is why their time is limited.

I would be more likely however to say influenced by than controlled by. Satan is the ultimate confidence trickster, and has the vast majority of mankind fooled, many even into believing he doesn"t exist.

Just think how much free reign to act a denial of his existence gives him.
However it is possible to break free of his universal brainwashing, but only by relying on Jehovah and his son to brainwash us instead.

Of course that means that first off you have to accept that you are being brainwashed by Satan"s system, as we all are from cradle to grave unless we recognise it and break free.

21. The Holy Spirit is only available to select Jehovah's Witnesses.

Holy spirit is available to all who are open to it.

However the degree of holy spirit granted depends on what you do with it.

Without at last a minimal level of Jehovah"s spirit we would be dead, simple as. It is only his spirit which keeps us alive.

Initially Jehovah grants a small extra portion to those he judges to be genuine truth seekers, and this allows them to see the truths in his word more clearly, as well as to recognise the influence of Satan on the world.

If you use that small does productively you will be granted more.

In fact Jesus illustration of the 10 talents describes that completely since the 10 talents represent the initial extra dose of holy spirit granted us to help us see the truth. Whether you are allowed to keep what yu have been given, get more, or simply get cast out, depends entirely on how you use that spirit, those 10 talents. Jesus words also apply, when he said "He who is not for me is against me, he who does not gather with me, scatters". Being on Jesus side demands action, it si not a passive role.

22. They are forbidden to serve in the military

Jesus said we must be no part of this world.

How can we be obedient to that is we are actively supporting this world or any one part of it over another?

Simply we cannot.

And that is not just limited to the military. It means not voting in elections, not working directly for the Governments, local, national or international in any role whatever.

Unfortunately it does not mean not paying your taxes (Caesar"s things to Caesar).

23. They are forbidden to buy Girl Scout cookies

That comes under the previous heading.

30. They are forbidden to celebrate any holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc.)

Why would any who follow Christ wish to celebrate pagan festivals? No, we worship one God and one God only. Christmas is a lie built around pagan festivals, Easter is even named after Ishtar and includes hot cross buns which were used in her worship under that name and also Astarte.

31. They are forbidden to celebrate their birthday

That is based on the idea that n scripture birthdays were only celebrated by pagans as a form of self-worship, and not one scripturally described birthday celebration had a good outcome.

It is also based partly on Ecclesiates 7:1-2.

32. They are forbidden to run for or hold a political office

See 22

33. They are forbidden to vote in any political campaign

See 22

34. They are forbidden to serve on a jury

See 22

35. They are forbidden to own or wear a cross

Wearing a cross is a form of idolatry. Especially since it too is a pagan symbol used n pagan worship in many forms.

36. They are forbidden to speak to former members who are shunned (disfellowshipped)

A gross exaggeration, and I should know since I am disfellowshipped.

The ban, and eve that is a bit strong, is on "unnecessary social, or spiritual interaction". It does not include being rude and "shunning". If a disfellowshipped person works with you, or does business with you that is OK (my window cleaner is a JW Elder). If they call for help you would not ignore it. If a disfellowshipped person asks you the time, then to tell them is OK.

However you wold not go for a drink or a meal with them, nor get involved in deep spiritual discussion. In the latter case you would simply say, "ask an Elder".

37. They are forbidden to accept Christmas gifts

Since that would mean you were taking part in the pagan festival, yes, and that includes giving them also.
38. They are forbidden to purchase Christian products (books, music, plaques, pictures etc.)

Not true, though there is little point in doing so, other than for research. However any who become Jehovah"s Witnesses have probably amassed a small library during their studies. How else can you truly research the truth if you don"t at least look at it from the other side as well?

39. They are forbidden to read Christian literature

As above.

40. They are forbidden to have friends who are not Jehovah's Witnesses

Again something of an exaggeration.

However it is similar to a disfellowshipped person, and after all, you will have little in common with someone who doesn"t worship Jehovah.

It also depends what you mean by "friends". Acquaintances who you share an interest or hobby with are OK, but again you would soon find you drifted away from any close friends, or they from you.

41. They are forbidden to marry a non-Jehovah's Witness

Let"s just say it is strongly discouraged, though I doubt anyone would be disfellowshipped if they did.
After all, it is a spiritual injunction to "marry only in the Lord".

42. They are forbidden to salute the flag, stand for the national anthem, or own a flag

See 22 again.

43. They are forbidden to say "God bless you" when someone sneezes.

That is what is known as a "matter of conscience", I have known may a JW say it, though personally I tend not to.

44. They are forbidden to have a tattoo

Again strongly discouraged, it comes under the heading of defilements of the flesh.

Are you saying that the Body Jehovah gave you needs improving?

45. They are forbidden to use pet foods made with blood or blood products

Wrong

Pets are not expected to drain their food of blood as far as possible, only humans come under the absolute prohibition at Acts 15:28-29.

73. They must study Watchtower books at least six months before they can be baptized

Again there is no must.

However most people take about a year to achieve a level of scriptural knowledge which permits baptism. 6 months is rare. Some take a number of years, though the longest I even knew was 6 years.

The Elders will not recommend any for baptism who are not 100% certain of what theya re taking on. It"s the "quality not quantity" principle.

74. Before baptism, one must answer over 80 Bible questions with Scripture references in front of a panel of elders.

Wrong again. For a start it is only one Elder at a time, though it usually takes 3 sessions to complete the assessment.

It is not a case of right or wrong answers. There is no answer paper. More than anything else the elders are there to asses you understanding of what you are committing to.

Again it"s the "quality not quantity" principle.

75. Most of The Book of Revelation applies to the Jehovah's Witnesses

Most of the Bible applies to Jehovah"s Witnesses today. Just as the prophecies it expands on applied to Israel back before Christ.
Revelation is not a book of new prophecy. It expands on earlier prophecies by such as Ezekiel, Isaiah and Micah.

76. They cannot celebrate Mothers or Fathers day (it may produce pride)

No that is not the reason, though it does border on human worship.

Anyway, why wold we appreciate our parents, or show them that appreciation only 1 day a years. We should be celebrating their existence 365 days a year.

77. Kingdom Halls cannot have pews for seating.

They have chairs which can be packed away if needs be, and re-arranged if required.

What"s so special about pews? In my experience they are nasty uncomfortable things.

78. They must appear before a Judicial Committee if they are caught breaking Watchtower rules (Secret files are kept on all members which record these meetings-these files are kept in New York and are never destroyed)

No, not watchtower rules, Scriptural laws.

As for the files, I do not know for sure, but I would be very surprised if they were stupid enough not to keep records.

If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about do you.

79. All pastors are the "Antichrist"

All false preachers are a part of the Anti-Christ. Only those who teach and preach what Christ and the apsotles taught and preached are not, and that means the JWs.

80. All churches are of Satan

Well all bar one yes.

Especially in this time of the end Satan has influenced the creation of more and more Apostate groups I order to make it harder to find the real one.

That is why over the last 150 years, it has mushroomed from about a dozen to many thousands.

And yet, since there is only one true God, and therefore e one true set of teachings, there can only be one true church.

Your responsibility is to find out which one. The evidence is all there, in the Bible.

81. God only speaks through the "Governing Body" in Brooklyn, New York

Yes, just as he only spke through the priests of ancient Israel, and after Christ the Apostles and Older Men in Jerusalem who just like todays Governing Body, were devoted to "the ministry of the word" and were there to sort out any arguments.

82. They are discouraged from attending college

Again that depends.

The official advice is why learn anything which will not be of use after Armageddon.

Plus of course you have all the problems of bad influences, drug abuse, immorality, all of which students are famous for, to contend with.

83. The Lord's supper is only to be eaten by select Jehovah's Witnesses (144,000 group-99.99% of Jehovah's Witnesses are forbidden from taking the Lord's supper)

The tokens, (the bread and wine) are only to be taken by those who believe thay have an active role in the New Convenant, i. e. they have the hope of going to heaven to ruel alongside Christ.
There is no need for the rest of us to partake.

84. The Lord's supper can only be celebrated annually

It only happened once, and should be celebrated on that date.

There is no need for more.

85. JWs in times of crisis, are strongly discouraged from consulting with family counselors, including mental health professionals who are not Jehovah's Witnesses

That"s a tricky one, and has to depend on the individual case.

Why go to a marriage guidance counsellor when the perfect advice is all there for you in scripture?

However Mental Health problems are a different animal entirely.

86. Only faithful Jehovah's Witnesses will survive Armageddon

That is true, with the emphasis on "fathful" JWs. If you cannot be faithful to God and Christ why would you be allowed to survive? That is after all what Armageddon is about, removing all of Satan"s works including the humans he has influenced.
.

87. If they have a non-Witness spouse their first loyalty is to the elders over their spouse

No, their first loyalty is always to Jehovah and Christ.

88. Angels direct the Watchtower organization

Well since it is spirit guided one would assume that Christ uses angels to do that.

89. Judgment day is 1000 years long

No.

There are two judgement days.

One happens at Armageddon.

The other comes at the end of the 100 year reign of Christ. In between is the time of resurrecting and teaching the dead.

90. If you leave Jehovah's Witnesses or are expelled from the organization you will not be resurrected

That depends non if you repent, and only Jehovah or his son can judge the truth of that or otherwise.

However you are putting yourself in great danger.

91. Only Jehovah's Witness prayers are heard by God
Wrong.
Only prayers said to God through his son, from an honest and open heart are herd and acted on by Jehovah through his son.

I know mine were heard long before I had even herd the name Jehovah, and they were answered about 20 years later, when I was guiding to what I was seeking, though I was shocked by where it lay.

92. Man's salvation is secondary in God's plan; Jesus was sent to "vindicate Jehovah's name"

No it is not secondary to it. It is an integral part of it.

The success of his plan to return humanity to the same level of holiness that Adam enjoyed is what will vindicate Jehovah"s name. Our salvation is simply a part of that.

93. God will destroy all non-Jehovah's Witnesses at Armageddon

He will destroy all who are not faithful to him and to his son, which is as good as the same thing.

I would not however be surprised to find there may be a few who the JWs have not been able to reach who will make it, but they will very much be in the minority and are more likely to die before Armageddon and get there by resurrection.

94. They are strongly discouraged from giving to charity (except Watchtower causes)

No, not true.

95. They must never enter a church building

Again not true, but why would they want to. I know I don"t. I despise everything such buildings represent.

However in the final analysis a building is only a building, nothing more.

96. They must never attend a church service
Again that is to an extent a matter of conscience. The point is that they must not take part n any form of false worship, so if any there are likely to think that is what they were doing there, they would not do so, so as not to stumble others.

97. They are discouraged from buying a two door car-A "Theocratic" or "spiritually strong" Jehovah's Witness will have a full size car for the door to door work

I"m sorry, that is absolute rubbish.

However all JWs are encouraged to be practical and where possible to buy something which has practical uses.

98. Men must wear short hair

See Beards.

99. They must refer to all Jehovah's Witnesses as "brother" or "sister"

There is no just about it, though if we don"t view them as brothers and sisters we simply don"t understand what Christ taught. However you would normally only use the term Brother or Sister if you did not know their name, or if you were addressing them formally i. e. from the platform and you did know there name it would be Brother or Sister followed by their surname.
.
100. They can never question what is printed in Watchtower literature

A JW who doesn"t question everything, against scripture to see if it really is so (Acts 17:10-11) simly isn"t doing their job right.

10l. They must report their witnessing activity to the elders

Again there is no must.

A JW would be a fool not to report what they do, and end up being classed as inactive, but you only have to state the hours you have done that month, not what you were doing during them.

A husband can claim one hour a week as family study.

There were, even back in "my day" also the street witnessing, witnessing by letter, witnessing by telephone, witnessing at businesses, but of course now you can add email and other forms of internet witnessing, including this.

JW's are as big a cult as one can be a cult. Did God not need the watchtower for 1800 years? Now He does need them? Cue twilight zone music...

I think the magical underwear is Mormon not watchtower

Exactly, which is the problem with any religion that offers end times or an afterlife, all you get are ignorant, lazy people who could care less about the future and doing anything about planning or practical solutions, yet they are one of the first to tell you how bad things are in the world.

JW's are as big a cult as one can be a cult. Did God not need the watchtower for 1800 years? Now He does need them? Cue twilight zone music...

For 1800 years he had little or nothing, but in this special time of the end he needed a group to spread the warning and the invitation.

That is why he drew that small group of Bible students, which eventually became the WTBTS, to his son's side so he could teach them to do the equivalent of the work Noah was given to do before the flood.

That is why Christ likened these times to the days of Noah (Luke 17:26-30), because the catastrophe which he is bringing on the earth will be ever bit as global as that one was, it just won't be a global flood. We are on the verge of Armageddon, so people need to be told so they can chose God's side or Satan's.

Incidentally that is also why, at this time of the end, Satan has escalated the numbers of his fake "Christian" churches from a dozen or so to many thousands.

Just as God and Christ need the message spread, Satan needs it ignored.

Don;t fall for his fakes, seek out the true church, and you could start in a far worse place than on the end of the links in my signature.
