1.) No "tongues" exist in Scripture which are anything other than known foreign human languages. Paul's foolish hyperboli about "tongues of angels" was misconstrued because no Scripture shows angels ever speaking in any language other than a known human language.

2.) Tongues in Scripture are only for a sign to unbelievers.

3.) Anyone is false who claims "tongues" today imbue power, wisdom, guidance, new revelation, or a higher faith.

4.) Tongues never heal or deliver anyone.

5.) No NT authors other than Foolish Paul ever claim "tongues" can praise God.

6.) Tongues do nothing to edify The Church or build unity.

7.) Tongues today always lead to spiritual arrogance and error. They never change anything of material substance.

8.) No Scripture contains any recorded "tongues" or any direct interpretation of "tongues." Therefore, "tongues" are not the Word of God.

It is both sad and revealing here that a non Pentecostal such as myself would need to teach, guide, and correct self acclaimed Pentecostals about their own supposed area of expertisse.

But, whenever angels spoke, the humans could understand them.
Acts 2:6 - "When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken."

2.) Tongues in Scripture are only for a sign to unbelievers.

I agree

3.) Anyone is false who claims "tongues" today imbue power, wisdom, guidance, new revelation, or a higher faith.

I agree

not any more than other words.

5.) No NT authors other than Foolish Paul ever claim "tongues" can praise God.

Paul was not foolish.
Acts 10:46 (Written by Luke) : "For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said,"

6.) Tongues do nothing to edify The Church or build unity.

I agree

1 Corinthians 14:23
"So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?"

7.) Tongues today always lead to spiritual arrogance and error. They never change anything of material substance.

8.) No Scripture contains any recorded "tongues" or any direct interpretation of "tongues." Therefore, "tongues" are not the Word of God.

"tongues" is not a language as such, it is speaking so that everyone understands it in their own language.

It is both sad and revealing here that a non Pentecostal such as myself would need to teach, guide, and correct self acclaimed Pentecostals about their own supposed area of expertisse.

What's even more sad and revealing is that 1/3 of the Church of England clergy doubt the resurrection.
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

There is good reason to doubt much of what is in the Bible like the resurrection, as it isn't credible!

BIG DEAL! That doesn't make it true. If that guy Jesus was resurrected why didn't he stay around on earth throughout the centuries, instead of conveniently disappearing up to heaven?

And the vast majority of them are rotting in the ground along with all the unconvinced.

Well tongues, when introduced in the scriptures one might notice that a group of people heard in their different languages what Peter was preaching. so it's to communicate to those who don't know the language of the speaker. not some gobbley gook that TV and some particular denominations like practice.

In the "miracles" category the Lord does what the person doesn't have the ability to do or accomplish with out Lord's intervention. He's not going to heal someone's hand the is already heathy and of good use.
