How does Atheism correlate with end times prophecy?

Atheism synonymous with Narccisism:

http://www.conservapedia.com...

http://www.countdown.org...

(2 Timothy 3:2)
"People will be lovers of themselves, boastful, proud, abusive, ungrateful, unholy."
"What Donald Trump is doing is representing the absolute heartbreak, and anger, and frustration at a government gone mad."

Atheism has always been around.

But today's culture has free thought.

This gets bad.
Jesus loves you.

Atheism is not synonymous with narcissism. Rather your links are people that atheism is somehow correlated with narcissism such that the two go hand in hand. Your sources are hardly rigorous and are most certainly biased and predisposed to associate atheism with negative attributes such as narcissism and hedonism. I take them with a grain of salt.

With respect to Timothy's "prophecy," the conditions he outlines have been prevalent through all of human history. If they haven't ushered in the end times yet, I'm not particularly concerned.

Interesting.

Between me, the atheist, and you the theist, which one is deriving their authority from a power that claims to be always right, always good, and there by anything you argue on its behalf makes you always good and always right?

Which one is asking you to look at the world around you, and draw your own conclusions on means to our continued survival and well being?

You sure you have the narcissist pegged correctly?

One thing I can say for sure.
I recognize five out of six of those characteristics in your internet persona, brontoraptor .

Does the bible say that in the End of Days people would link to sites as a way to excuse themselves from making an actual case, does it, brontoraptor ?

All those sources are bias against athiesm. And none do a good job of making the words synonymous.

Bronto I think it's important to read that scripture and know it applies to people who identify as Christians as well.

Of course it does. It defines the nature of humanity today. Offended by everything, scoffing at God, hateful, abusive, and self absorbed. Enjoying the thread?

Bronto, whatever qualifications may be, psychology is not numbered among them.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder is defined as [http://behavenet.com...]:
a pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

(1) has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)

(2) is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love

(3) believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)

(4) requires excessive admiration

(5) has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations

(6) is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends

(7) lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others

(8) is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her

(9) shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

There are plenty of people of faith with NPD, and other self-important behaviours [https://christinehammondcounseling.com...][http://esteemology.com...], and rejecting religion is not a predictor of any of the above behaviours. In fact, kids with irreligious parents can show higher levels of altruism and tolerance than kids with religious parents. [http://www.cell.com...]

And now, here's a Christian minister with a PhD in theology talking about what a Christian narcissist looks like:

A Christian narcissist uses the Bible and teachings of Jesus Christ to fulfill their own emotional and relational significance. They often approach others with rigidity, condemnation and confrontation all in the name of God. They state what they do is for God's Glory, but at the end of the day, it"s all about them.

Do you know any self-important members obsessed with posting rigid, condemning, confrontational Christian doctrine day after tedious day, Brontoburger?

Is it possible that you are bringing on the End TImes? o.O
