It is well known that Christianity copied many pagan beliefs in its efforts to gain believers and credibility. However many Christians are either ignorant to or choose to ignore this bible verse.

Jeremiah 10: 1-5

Hear what the Lord says to you, people of Israel. This is what the Lord says: "Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them. For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good."

This verse allegedly contains direct instructions from God. God clearly objects to people cutting down trees and decorating them.

So Christians who place a decorated tree in their house how do you justify going against the word of your god?
"I don't need experience.to knock you out. I'm a man. that's all I need to beat you and any woman."

Fatihah, in his delusion that he could knock out any woman while bragging about being able to knock me out. An example of 7th century Islamic thinking inspired by his hero the paedophile Muhammad.

Since when does anyone cut a xmas tree out of the forest, and shape it with a chisel before decorating it?
The passage is referring to the creation of CARVED and decorated idols not to xmas trees.
Try comprehending the context before you try making text refer to something irrelevant.

It is relevant. All Christmas trees are cut down, Apart from the fake ones made out of plastic. This verse clearly condemns the practice of cutting down trees and decorating them. Many Christians contradict this verse by doing exactly that.

It's actually referring to the tree of Asherah. Look it up.

Still Christmas trees are a contradiction of God's words in this verse. They are objects that are cut down and decorated. It's also an object that cannot speak and must be carried.

Definition of idol;

A person or thing that is greatly admired, loved, or revered.

People admire Christmas trees.

There is nothing wrong with cutting down trees Cloe. Trees are cut down to make houses and furniture and wood to burn so we can keep warm in winter etc.
There is nothing wrong with decorating anything to make it look beautiful, appealing or artistic. If there was, it would be wrong for any person to place decorations like jewellery on themselves too.
"Gods commands" are simply the commands of a mythical character in a story.
The "commands" are dependant on circumstances and one needs to use wisdom to understand when to do something and when not to do it.
Take the command "Thou shalt not kill" for example. The bible characters broke that command when the same God who told them to NOT kill, sent them out to kill.
Does that make God a hypocrite or someone who changes his mind according to his own whims and fantasies? Today you are allowed to kill your enemies and tomorrow you are not?
The scripture you quoted has nothing to do with xmas trees. It is referring to making idols and worshipping them.
I am sure you are intelligent enough to comprehend that if you try hard.

It comes as no surprise to me that there is conflict over the translation a passage from the bible. The bible is so full of convoluted, disjointed pieces of mumbo jumbo that it has always meant open slather for just about anyone to take any quote from it to justify their own selfish ends and weird practices.
