I can't prove it was.
But it's not hard to prove it could of been .

Step 1
Well let's start with the tools that would be required .
( tools required to invent a religion )
#1
#2
#3
Ok now we have that covered.
Let's check if they had all 3 items back then . Let's say 500BC
A quick Google search . DID THEY HAVE NOTHING BACK IN 500 BC.
YES , yes it would seem so, absolutely nothing was available to all persons living back then.

What else would one need.
Any ideas ? A GOD maybe . ?
imaginary figure.
OK let's do a quick Google search on ( Availability of imaginary figures in 500 BC )
This could be a win for the theists here.
Yes, imaginary figures are indeed available in 500 BC . Well I'll be .
Let's see who could afford 1 of these imaginary figures back then .
Only kings I bet. Google ( cost )
Wow even a poor man could afford 1 . ( $ 0 ) or ( 0 goats )
Looks like we got it all covered .
Let's do a quick double check. OK um nothing. Check.
It seems a religion could very well of been invented back then.
1 complete religion package in 500 BC cost ( $0* ) * prices subject to change.
Is there anything we missed out.?

So you used the internet to prove a person had an imagination. The problem with circular reasoning is it is bad to use circular reasoning. Let me know when you actually address how you came upon the evidence to prove what a human thought or was capable of thinking without external influence 2500 years ago. Wait, God was actually fingernails that moved by themselves.

The ego will always bath itself in a tub of filth thinking it's clean, when unwashed from ignorance sits the truth to the bottom of the drain. To have faith is to pull the plug to ride the wave with no doubts will pure as rain await those that spring inward for better or worse, the final consequence is of no matter.

Full Definition of religion
1
a : the state of a religious
b (1) : the service and worship of God or the supernatural (2) : commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance
2
.: a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices
3
archaic : scrupulous conformity : conscientiousness
4
.: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith

service, worship, institutionalized systems, beliefs, practices, conformity, causes principles, systems, ador, faith, etc...

All of these occur through creation, so we know that they are all created.

We know they are all invented because they manifested through human beings,

Full Definition of invent
transitive verb
1
archaic : find, discover
2
.: to devise by thinking : fabricate
3
.: to produce (as something useful) for the first time through the use of the imagination or of ingenious thinking and experiment

You can make an image of God through ingenious thinking, experiment, and imagination. Indeed, this is your conception of God. However, this is an image, and God is not that image. God is not an understanding. God is not creation. If you think God is, that means that God hasn't been realized for you yet.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of the will of God. The hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth,

No, it wasn't. Accepting the idea that 'militant' atheism is the position that religion is always wrong and usually harmful (would that make monotheism 'militant antipolytheism'?), even 'Conservapedia' dates that back to the late 18th century. [http://www.conservapedia.com...]

No, it doesn't. But apparently nothing will stop you from believing that a significant number of people consider these ideas true.

How often do you wash your birthday suit? In Alaska we might not wash much. Maybe once a decade or so, living around little water...

I do live in Florida. It is hot and humid. Hot and humid weather makes me sweat. Sweating keeps pores clean. Deodorant makes me smell good. People do watch me from a distance. They are spying on me. Maybe they think I'm a spy too. Maybe they think I'm C.I.A like father like son. Who knows. The only thing absolute in truth is I do not shower.
