Tsk tsk bulproof. The highest IQ's are theists. We've been through this before.

I thought atheism was better than the "god" I was taught to serve as a child. Of course it wasn't the Jewish or Christian God. So atheism was a stepping stone to better theism.

The religion I grew up in was morally vulgar, and I wished it to be false.

Wishing something to be false is not equivalent to ceasing to believe that it's true. So, at this particular point you weren't an atheist.

(Deuteronomy 4:19)
And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars--all the heavenly array--do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has created.

*

Other than Earth, all of the planets have a named derived from Roman mythology.

http://www.universetoday.com...

*

Diana, Isis, Kali ma, Shiva, Allah, etc are all represented by the crescent moon.

Guess who else is.

His arrogance is so high that his symbols are on the top of mosques and temples worldwide even today.

Well, what was it that made you become atheist, though? You know, when you no longer believed that some god existed? As I explained, you haven't described yourself as having been an atheist, yet.

Yep. It's more than one thing. It is:

1)A psychological reaction to negative things happening to you.

2)An excuse to reject accountability.

3)The result of giving up or not further investigsting the issue in order to understand the actual theologies you claim to "lack belief in".

There were no such named planets during thedays of Roman mythology.

There were no planets, either, given the technology. They were believed to be some variety of flame, or deific emissary in the sky. Earth, however, very much had a given goddess, though there would be no reason to identify Earth (a solid expanse of dirt and water) as a celestial orbiting flame. Why would the ancient Romans equate what they were standing on to be similar to those distant points of light?

I'm preaching good aren't I bull? Come here you little bugger. Ahem...

You might have been better to call me agnostic. I claimed no belief in anything but further pursued the logical path. Christianity was better. You don't have to agree or like it, but it was. In it you can find peace and rest for your soul. In unbelief you simply always wonder,"what if I'm wrong?" whether you admit it or not. It's why so many atheists want a priest or preacher during hospice.

In it you can find peace and rest for your soul. In unbelief you simply always wonder,"what if I'm wrong?" whether you admit it or not. It's why so many atheists want a priest or preacher during hospice.
I didn't supply the title, you did and you LIED.
But that is understandable from you.
As someone who admits you never were in the category of unbelief you are in no position to state what such a person would wonder.
Provide some evidence to support this claim:
It's why so many atheists want a priest or preacher during hospice.
You can't because it is just another one of your lies, like claiming to have once been an atheist.
Don't you get sick of lying?

Ask me anything.

When were you an Atheist?

What piece of information did you read/see/hear to start believing in God?

From what age did you start believing?

What was your opinion of gods?

I thought atheism was better than the "god" I was taught to serve as a child. Of course it wasn't the Jewish or Christian God. So atheism was a stepping stone to better theism.
You struggle to understand the written word, I asked what was your opinion of gods?

Most of them had something in common except for one.
Thank you, you just proved me right in post #2.
Go you good thing.
bwuahahahahahahaha

Here is what they all have in common. Look closely...

We are discussing YOUR atheism, not your beliefs in whatever gods you believed in. Do you have any idea what atheism is?

Yep. It's more than one thing. It is:

1)A psychological reaction to negative things happening to you.

2)An excuse to reject accountability.

3)The result of giving up or not further investigsting the issue in order to understand the actual theologies you claim to "lack belief in".

Based on what you listed above, it sounds to me that you believed you had motivation to be an atheist; therefore wishing it to be true (allegedly). Motivation leads to confirmation bias, which means any belief you allegedly had was based on wants rather than facts. Desire is unreliable as a determining factor in how you categorize knowledge, beliefs and suspicions.

Personally, during my transformation to secularism, I wanted to believe there was a god. My new belief was counter to what I wanted. That is the opposite of confirmation bias. What I desire to be true has no bearing on what I believe to be true.

So tell us how our reality came to be. Don't tell us what you want to be true but what you actually see.

Relatively recently, whilst"exploring"the mathematics of string theory,"Theoretical Physicist James Gates and his researcher discovered something rather interesting buried deep"within the mathematical equations of super symmetry.

They found computer code.

And it isn"t just random 1"s and 0"s either. Bizarrely, the code they found is code which is used in computer browser operating system software.

Specifically; Block Linear Self Dual Error Correcting Code.
