"Religion follows borders. Truth does not."

It's a smart observation, Kthulhu. I'm not sure if you're aware but the realisation that species follow geography was key to understanding speciation also. [https://en.wikipedia.org...] Sometimes the propagation of information helps identify how it originates.

True; but it's not my observation.

True as well; though I don't see where you're going with this (if you even are).

So you can't discuss it?

Traditional cultural sense-making frames can be hard to step out of. However a good way to understand one's inherited frame is to study the history and behaviour of the information inherited: where did it originate? What influenced it? How did it develop? What factors influenced when it developed? How is it taught? How was it standardised? What are the pressures on it to change? How is it preserved and maintained? How is it changed or reformed and when? How is that decided? How is change propagated? What factors predict acceptance? What sense do people make of it who don't sit inside the frame?

That's something anyone can do, and it's what I liked most about the line of argument in the linked video.

I can; but the way you phrased your sentence, it seemed as though you were implying that the observation was mine.

I agree with you wholly.
