Christians are commanded to smash the false idol known as the planet Earth as well as the moon and the sun.

This is because Christians are commanded to smash all false idols.

"Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places.
"

and some people worship the Earth, moon, and sun.

Lol, ever read the Gospels or Epistles? na, you probably get all your ideas and passages from some atheist propaganda link.

This is because Christians are commanded to smash all false idols.

"Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places.
"

Have you ever noticed what countries do in war they do no where else? have you ever noticed what soldiers do in war they do no where else. That's because of the nature of war, what applies in WAR, applies nowhere else.
Read the beginning of that chapter.

and some people worship the Earth, moon, and sun.

http://biblehub.com...
http://www.pantheism.net...

The first mistake you've made was taking a war passage out of context, and deliberately ignored the fact the passage was talking about carved and graven images, worshiped entities cut in stone or wood or whatever "smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods

And here we go once again another non-believer directs a non-related topic at "Christians" when it should be directed at Orthodox Jews, do you know what a Christian is and do you know what an Orthodox Jew is?
Those scriptures were written and carried out by orthodox Jews, not Christians. Why does the title and OP not say "Jews were commanded to "smash the earth"?? in the first place? did you know there are still Orthodox Jews lol?
Atheists and agnostics become so fixated on Christianity and attempting to debunk it or make it look stupid they mix everything up, making themselves look silly.

So, both your title and your assertions are nonsensical as well as a non sequitur, besides the fact the sun, moon and earth are a creation of God's not just a wooden image or sculpture, this whole post is silly!

Next time you create a topic for Christians make sure you come up with something that's relevant to them.

Orthodox Jew- a Jew who adheres faithfully to the principles and practices of traditional Judaism as evidenced chiefly by a devotion to and study of the Torah, daily synagogue attendance if possible, and strict observance of the Sabbath, religious festivals, holy days, and the dietary laws.

Christian- a person who believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ

of, relating to, or professing Christianity or its teachings.

of, relating to, or derived from Jesus Christ or His teachings:

of, pertaining to, believing in, or belonging to the religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ wrote the old testament as well as the new testament. Therefore, the old testament is relevant to Christianity.

" you probably get all your ideas and passages from some atheist propaganda link."

Nay, while I had stronger belief in Christ I thought of the Earth as a false idol. There is precedence for destroying a God created idol with the Babylonians worshiping a living dragon. Daniel slayed the living idol, the dragon, just as Christians should destroy the Earth.

OK
When I respond with "OK" don't take it personally. I'm simply being appropriately dismissive.

My God EtrnlVw! You decimated Stupidape's argument. You didn't need to be so thorough in your dismemberment. Good job.

This post is stupid enough to fool me into thinking it is a bully original. Could stupidape be an alter-ego of our own troll king?
