Seems to me there's one person here more concerned with the subject than anyone. Since it's only atheists and gays who post here, when are you going to come out of the closet?

You are spreading the words of a man whom even God gave up on and ignored his pleas for help.

Jesus prayed for help.

Matthew 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."

Then felt betrayed by God on the cross.

Matthew 27:46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?").

So, bashing gays, bashing atheists and bashing other religions is what you consider spreading the gospel.

Yes, Jesus did pray to the Father several times.

You are only partially right. I will quote an article from the WT:

"Jesus' question was a quotation from a psalm of David. (Ps. 22:1) In David's case the question related to a momentary condition of abandonment. Surrounded by enemies, David found himself in a situation that made it appear that he was completely forsaken by Jehovah. The tremendous strain resulting therefrom moved David to ask why it had happened despite his being unaware of any guilt. But David had not lost faith, for in the same psalm he prayed: 'Do make haste to my assistance.' -- Ps. 22:16-19.

Similarly, when uttering the words of Psalm 22:1, Jesus keenly sensed that his Father had momentarily withdrawn his protection and 'forsaken' or released him into the hands of his enemies, to die as an accursed criminal on a stake. (Gal. 3:13) In asking 'why,' Jesus did not imply that he did not know the reason for this abandonment nor was he expecting an answer from his Father. The situation is comparable to that of a Christian who knows the reason for human suffering but is moved, under the weight of intense difficulties, to ask 'why' either silently or audibly. The questioner thereby reveals that he has no reason to think that the suffering is due to his transgressions. Thus, besides fulfilling Psalm 22:1, Jesus' outcry evidently served to confirm his innocence and focused on the real purpose for his suffering. -- Matt. 27:46; compare John 12:27, 28, 33." Jesus quoted scriptures because he was mostly incoherent and inarticulate. Even his disciples understood him not.
Luke 18:34 The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about.

But by quoting scriptures the people understood what he was trying to say. They knew what he was talking about from the example/quotes he was using whose meaning were clear.

Jesus felt betrayed and forsaken on the cross and quoted from Psalms the words he wished to articulate. Because like David he too felt betrayed by God.

Jesus also prayed for the safety of his disciples. But even there his prayers failed. They were all killed.

John 17:; 8 for the words that you gave to me I have given to them, and they have received them and know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. 9 I am asking on their behalf; I am not asking on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those whom you gave me, because they are yours. 10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine; and I have been glorified in them. 11 And now I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I protected them in your name that[b] you have given me. I guarded them, and not one of them was lost except the one destined to be lost,[c] so that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I am coming to you, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made complete in themselves.[d] 14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 15 I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.[e] 16 They do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.

It would not baffle me if you were surreptitiously both gay and an atheist.

But since this forum, according to your superb insight, is primarily gay atheists posting, you would be amongst friends.

To be sure, just because someone does not understand you does not make you incoherent or inarticulate. That would be like saying the majority of teachers/professors are incoherent and inarticulate just because a bulk of people do not understand the material they are speaking of.

Luke 18:34 The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about.
Yes. The passage specifically says that the meaning was "hidden from them." It does not place the blame on Jesus, but on the lack of knowledge of the disciples. Do you bother to read what you quote?

But by quoting scriptures the people understood what he was trying to say. They knew what he was talking about from the example/quotes he was using whose meaning were clear.
The same thing was done with the Jews. They had to be shown through the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah, the Christ. This has nothing to do with Jesus being incoherent or inarticulate.

Jesus felt betrayed and forsaken on the cross and quoted from Psalms the words he wished to articulate. Because like David he too felt betrayed by God.
I already addressed this.

Jesus also prayed for the safety of his disciples. But even there his prayers failed. They were all killed.
Yeah, let's try and exercise some actual reading comprehension skills, shall we?

I guarded them, and not one of them was lost except the one destined to be lost,[c] so that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I am coming to you, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made complete in themselves.[d] 14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 15 I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.[e] 16 They do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

Note the underlined areas. Jesus was not asking the Father to protect them from physical harm. We know the disciples and Apostles were beaten, humiliated, persecuted, and killed. This is not what Jesus prayed about. Rather, he was praying for their spiritual protection, which is indicated in the underlined areas, as you apparently cannot read the passage without key phrases underlined.

A: Not miserable. Not trying to convert anyone. Just like the challenge of debating religion. It isn't our fault that we are more interested in religion than many religious people.

B: What does atheism have to do with homosexuality? Unless you are using gay as an insult. In which case, I would just like to say that gay is not an insult, and it probably should not be used as one. Also, using insults to get your point across in a debate? Kind of low.

Matthew 27:46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?").

you realy are ignorant of the word of God, typical for a muslim...

the sin Jesus took on separated him from the father...

or perhaps the atheist forum??

it seems that's all that bother to post, not sure why they feel compelled to unless they realise the mistake they have made and just want to draw others in to the same mistake??

misery loves company !!!!!!!

Do you never deviate from your specialist subject, gog?

nope, I will spread the gospel all the days of my life... Amen...

So, bashing gays, bashing atheists and bashing other religions is what you consider spreading the gospel.

again no gay bashing going on just spreading the truth...

I guess believer bashing is ok though...
