Views on it?

Basically it goes "is something good because God orders it, or is it good because it fits some standard apart from God?" If the first is true, then morality can change at any point because it's dependent on Gods opinion. If the second is true, then something exists apart from God, which challenges his sovereignty.

I personally think this makes it very hard to argue that morals prove God exists. The best one can do is say morals are just a part of God.

One might consider the two alternatives:

Do stupid people follow religion? Or,

Does following religion make people stupid?
