Is it moral to expose false religions?

Let's take an example from Star Trek the original series. A tribe is worshiping an advanced computer. Would it be wrong for us to intervene and strip that religion from the tribe? Would the answer change if more harm than good was being done in the name of the false religion? Thanks for the responses.

How about you don't take examples from scripted tv shows, and yes to help people not have delusions and realise there is no higher power because it's all man made is a good thing, religion is a problem and should be removed.

There are no TRUE religions, so what is your point?
