First of all, I'm a Christian, but I do believe in evolution.

I'm assuming that the first life forms on earth reproduced asexually. If that's the case, why did beings eventually evolve into life form that reproduce sexually? Wouldn't it be easier to continue life through asexual reproduction?

Even if the first forms of life on earth didn't reproduce asexually, why did beings that reproduce sexually come along?
"And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." Jesus in Luke 11:9-10
