4 trillion degrees would be the hottest temperature ever recorded. The last record was 3.6 T, and they aren't even sure how they achieved it.

I'm interested in how humans even go about measuring such temperatures... What are the methods and tools used?

Did you even watch the video, it specifically goes over this.

The theory of relativity was verified by eclipse photos in the 1920s. Gravitational lensing was shown in apparent motion of the positions of stars whose light passed near the sun. It would be really big news if NASA observed something different.

The video seems unrelated, but it does pose an important question: What does quark gluon soup taste like? Quarks come in six flavors, so there is potential there, but gluons ... why would you add those? We won't know until the soup cools.

But then it stabilizes and becomes hydrogen soup!
