I highly enticipate this to be a very fact filled debate. Everyone who's anyone should read it (it's not often that a science debate makes it to #1 for popular debates, but this might).

I think next I'll do a debate about solar panels being worthy investments for companies (as supplimental power).

The debate is completed and available for voting.

The debate turns on the cost of capital, and other costs like insurance, maintenance, and taxes. That's the problem with windmills and other energy sources with high upfront costs that cannot be justified. Utilities have all their costs in the rate charged, but it's easy to ignore costs for alternatives. It helps to read the last round of the debate first, because many of the issues, like how many solar panels and such, were agreed to during the debate.
