The Mayans abandoned their cities and ran back into the jungle, never to have a complex urban civilization again, why? What/why do you think they left their complex lives to go back to a more primitive lifestyle?

They were late on their payments to GeneCo.

They probably just got sick of playing the game, and decided to go out and make new ones(or go back to older ones that were more fun).

Probably a collapse in agriculture.
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

Along with chances of internal turmoil, the collapse of trade routes, disease, and so on....But each have some varying degree of probability...

Yeah that's a real theory.

Do you believe that extraterritorials are involved with some other mysteries of History?

Has anyone ever seen the show ancient aliens?

While the idea is interesting, I don't buy it.

They make some valid points, but when they connect the Egyptian half animal, half human god kings to aliens doing genetic experiments on humans, I turn off the TV.

But yes, the thing about cargo cults makes tons of sense, and halos, angels, etc.
