Agriculture has done more bad than good to humans, domesticated plants and animals, and the Earth, along with many other societal issues. Was agriculture the worst mistake in human history?

No. It wasn't. It was a necessary step in the advancement and organization of communities and economies, not only responsible for efficient and expedient production of food, but also a significant advancement in human understanding of other living creatures. A claim as bold as this, needs way more than two sentences for substantiation.

Be a hero. Go out in a forest and eat some nuts and berries, then die of stomach poison. Have fun. Maybe get killed by a bear.

Though I have no idea what most of the sh!t is when I read the ingredient list on most of the food is that I eat.. I will say that aspertame is sweet. I'd rather have cancer than diabetes. At least with cancer I get some good drugs. Diabetes just means that I can't eat chocolate without shootin myself in the arm like some heroin addict. Fvck that I say.

I don't think so!
Imagine yourself without dress and what you are handling are stone tools and there are many predators out there ready to devour you anytime....
The scarce resources are also declining and you are going to die of starvation because of population boom... there is much selection pressure. Tommorow, just like dinosaurs, we are gone from this world.

Tobacco is probably bad, but there are health conditions that are bad TODAY, but where beneficial to hunter gathers. On of these is the appendix. Another one that is not so obvious is diabetes being beneficial in hunter gather times, while today it is a serious health condition. This could also be a reason why it is passed down genetically, our diets have changed, but our bodies still thing having diabetes will benefit us.

I've always found something deliciously ironic about Jared Diamond saying that the move to agriculture was a mistake due to creating a non-farmer class.

The man is an academic/writer.

That said, his points on general nutrition of hunter-gatherers and less powerful viruses are well taken.

All possible because of agriculture. Without agriculture, there wasn't enough of a surplus to feed craftsmen and thinkers and builders.

Yeah, new cutting edge breakthroughs such as:
-Rock on the end of a stick
-Rock thrown by animal hide (slingshot)
-Hardened Stick To Hit People
-Whip
-The Bow and Arrow
-and everyone's favorite: Fire.

The point is, agriculture paved the way for many new technologies. It allowed less time for hunting, and more time for creating. 6th grade history dude.
