I'm back in DC, so my friend and I decided to go camping this weekend near the blue ridge mountains in VA. We get there and about 3 hrs later snow starts to come down, and within 3 and a half hours of being there, the whole are is covered with about a foot of snow, so we came back.

It is only October, and it is starting to snow, in the south. Last year I didn't see any snow until I was in Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving. GLOBAL WARMING

Its still snowing, but now as heavily now in DC.

Ha. Fancy that.

I wouldn't call it outright extraordinary; it's been getting progressively colder...

Colder's to be expected. That freak icy sleet out of nowhere and today's sunny sky? That's like the freaking end of the world XD

This is Texas.

We have no snow.

We might get an hour of weak snow or something in December or January, but that's about it.

We had two freak blizzards earlier this year, and this random snowstorm yesterday. It may just be me, but it feels like they're getting more and more frequent @.@

This is bad news.

The weather of the Eastern Seaboard arrives in Britain about a week later having been warmed slightly by the Gulf Stream en route.

What that means to me is that it's about to get cold and wet (but not cold enough for snow, which I actually really like).

People, cold days and warm days, and snow storms and heat waves DO NOT PROVE NOR DISPROVE GLOBAL WARMING.

if you haven't noticed, this section isn't the most popular.

It's actually fairly challenging to incite a logical discourse about scientific matters here.
