Can someone knowledgeable and articulate expound on it?

I just feel like reading about why something brilliant is brilliant.

Thanks.

I would start with the beauty of google and work your way from there...

Is there something wrong in asking people if they are willing to share their ideas about something they are passionate about?

Maxwell's Equations describe how electricity and magnetism behave. The equations are given at http://scienceworld.wolfram.com...

Their beauty lies in their simplicity, while at the same time they describe very complex behaviors. It's akin to Newtons force = mass * acceleration, f = m*a. The compact formulation does a lot of describing, and that's what appeals to science types.

Personally, I'm more inclined to remember being tortured as an undergraduate by endless problems demanding solutions to Maxwell's Equations. I believe Maxwell Equation t shirts (http://www.cafepress.com...) started production back when I was in school 45 years ago, as testimony to the common pain.

It's not only you. Those equations tortured me in school too. They haven't lost their touch in all these years.
