Now, I'm being whimsical with the title but...seriously...if there has even been a gift from God, it's marijuana. It seems just too good to be true. It's endless list of benefits makes it seem like a long lost organ of the human body. If it had grown in North America, Native Americans probably would have made up a story exactly for that.

Lets go over some things.

1. Marijuana relieves pain.
[duh]

2. Marijuana cures cancer.
[see first video and this debate I did: http://www.debate.org... ]

3. Marijuana cures Alzheimer's.
[1. http://www.webmd.com... 2. http://medicalmarijuana.procon.org... 3. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com... ]

4. Marijuana cures schizophrenia.
[1. http://healthland.time.com... 2. http://psychcentral.com... 3. http://news.softpedia.com... ]

4. Marijuana relieves ADD.
[ 1. http://www.nytimes.com... 2. http://stash.norml.org... 3. http://www.thirdage.com... ]

5. Marijuana promotes brain cell growth.
[ 1. http://news.healingwell.com... 2. 2. http://www.sciencedaily.com... 3. http://www.newscientist.com... ]

6. Marijuana relieves multiple sclerosis.
[see second video ]

7. Marijuana promotes apatite.
[duh]

8. Marijuana cures AIDS/HIV.
[ 1. http://www.sciencedaily.com... 2. http://www.fogcityjournal.com... 3. http://www.aidsresponseeffort.org... ]

9. Marijuana breaks opiate dependence.
[ 1. http://www.nature.com... 2. http://www.mcsocal.com... 3. http://www.popsci.com... ]

10. Marijuana relieves allergies.
[1. http://www.safeaccessnow.org... 2. http://www.medindia.net... 3. http://www.nature.com... ]

11. Marijuana relieves insomnia.
[duh]

12. Marijuana relieves depression.
[ 1. http://medicalmarijuana.procon.org... 2. https://www.healthtap.com... 3. http://www.azdhs.gov... ]

13. Marijuana cures epilepsy.
[ 1. http://www.news.vcu.edu... 2. http://articles.latimes.com... 3. http://www.epilepsycolorado.org... ]

The benefits go on and on and on and on and on and oooooooooon...and on. And, of course, it has more uses than just medical. It makes some of the best fiber known to man to make clothes and paper and even be turned into durable solid surfaces to make walls out of. It can used as fuel. It takes much much less of it to do these things than other plants typically used.

Then lets not forget it's psychoactive effects which are absolutely useful. It's a safe and enjoyable form of recreation which relieves stress and helps with the bonding of people. The interesting sensation of the high sets the mind on a new pattern of thought that induces creativity, as I talked about in a different thread.

Marijuana is the truly the miracle plant.

Lol, you realise that I'm for drug legalisation right?

I'm going to lay this out there just so I can know I did. The same medical effects exist whether you are ill or not.

People with vitamin deficiencies aren't the only ones who would do good to take vitamins.

In one scenario you treat the early stages of cancer before it even does anything to you. In the other, you smoke every day. It would take much less effort to just get rid of it than smoking every day.

Hop on the magic school bus and put your thinking cap on kids!

The effective amount of marijuana smoked would not be any less after having cancer than before having cancer. If anything, it would be more. As if it's actually effort to smoke marijuana.

You seem to be approaching this in a very odd way. The list of medical benefits is enormous. One point to be taken from it all is that you can smoke weed every day and feel good knowing that you're actually helping your body. No one is in perfect health. The same benefits exist no matter who you are or whether you're technically sick or not.

What possible point, after all this, are you trying to make with the manner of your replies?

Thanks for repeating yourself. That clears things up. I'll do the same. The effective amount of marijuana smoked would not be any less after having cancer than before having cancer. If anything, it would be more.

You selected one issue. Notice that there is a difference between curing/preventing something and relieving something. I made clear which ones are relieved and not cured/prevented. And that's only through technicality. You don't eliminate all the other benefits by picking out that one which doesn't apply before there are conditions calling for it to be possible.

What is your reason for smoking weed outside of scenarios where you are sick?
