Believe it or not, there are many people still asking this question today. Now your definition of this mythological being may be a bit different than others. However, there just might be some undiscovered science about the existence of mermaids. And oh, by the way, this thing just scored the biggest ratings ever in the history of the network, Animal Planet. So you be the judge.

I verify, it is not a hoax. Horcruxes are real.

I mean, mermaids.

Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

The poster of this video. I remember when animal planet and the other channels that I listed were about actual science and history, not mermaids and ice truckers.

I watched it a few days ago. But I have heard personal testimonies from people who have actually had experiences with oceanic creatures.

That is a mockumentary. The disclaimer is well hidden within the credits, but it is completely fake. The "scientists" are actors, and the news reports are fake. There is no conspiracy or cover up; that was just the plot of the mockumentary.
