quote
" For the physicist Bohr language is a barrier to understanding reality Dante like Lao Tzu, Pseudo-Dionysius St Augustine (354-430), St Thomas Aquinas (1225-74) Zen and many forms of Eastern mysticism knew the simultaneous inapplicability and inevitability of human language when talking of reality or God and his attributes and domains. No it doesn't. It claims that at time language has "limited" science in that at times of new breakthroughs our current definition of some words has proven unsatisfactory.

It tries to draw comparison with this phenomenon and mystical theology because a common theme in different mythologies is that language can't describe god or god's mind.

But while both claim limitation of language the motivation of both are completely different. In one case we can demonstrate the limitation of language, that language is often modified so that it more accurately represents reality, etc. The other case is useless pontification by people who need to throw smoke screen to keep the masses confused.
