The internet isn't great for learning things thoroughly (like a textbook is) but it is absolutely wonderful for compiling random factoids and statistics! Therefore let us start a Science Fact of the Day thread and get this party jumping.

12/5/13 - The average cell in the human body has to repair its DNA (from attacks by chemicals, radiation, etc) about 10,000 times every day.

Yes! Interenet gave us life easy. Like in dealing with my major subjects like Science and MyMathdone these two are very difficult to me. Good thing that website are there.

(27-12-13) Fluoroantimonic acid (HSbF6) is the most powerful acid. It is 20 quintillion times stronger than 100% sulfuric acid and is formed by the exothermic reaction of hydrogen fluoride (HF) and antimony pentafluoride (SbF5).
