Why oh why can I not see a half-human monkey or a quarter-human monkey? If evolution were real I would be able to see monkeys which look more like humans than the monkeys in Zoos today.

Well, we didn't evolve from modern monkeys. But we do share a common ancestor with apes.
This ancestor might have looked like a monkey, and if you go into a museum, you will see "half human monkeys" and "quarter human monkeys" , or as science calls them, Australopithecus, Homo rudolfenis, Homo habilis, Homo ergaster, etc.
Except Homo sapiens (modern humans, like you and me) they just went extinct.
That is why you don't see them running around.

For three reasons:
1. Humans didn't evolve from monkeys; they shared a common ancestor.
2. That common ancestor isn't around anymore.
3. Right now populations(especially humans) are in a state called stasis. Stasis is a term used in punctuated equilibrium which is the state populations are in most of the time where there is barely any change(adaptation) going on. In other words for most of a populations history it barely changes but when a large environmental disruption occurs populations evolve much more quickly.

I don't remember the exact percentage, but the chimpanzee genome is much more than half human.

I saw a guy who looked like a wolf and one like a lobster. Maybe we are lobster people.

Would you mate with someone who is 25% monkey?

Isn't that how HIV began?

I think that was a 100% monkey.

Yes! You've taken the bait, lol. I wanted to discuss this. If something is 100% of something, isn't it also 25% of it?

No but seriously, what do mathematicians say? Or should I make another thread.

This has to be a troll debate.
