Scientists call evolution a theory. Theories are just guesses and are not fact.

If evolution and natural selection are true, then why are humans unable to eat grass? If a famine strikes back when humans were hunter-gatherers and were unable to farm, then the only way for humans to survive is to eat grass just like the organisms that humans supposedly evolved from! We cannot eat grass! We know that famines happened before, so if evolution and natural selection are true then humans would be extinct! If they are true, why cannot you just eat and digest grass?

Therefore, evolution is false.

(note: A local Chinese Christian magazine actually said something similar to this, down to the "evolution is just a theory" and the food part. These were actual creationist arguments!)

No, scientists have no consistent use of "thory" and "law" and even things called "laws" are never settled. What happens is that something is proposed as a theory, and then after it is proved, the name theory sticks. The "theory of relativity" is now well-proved, but the name persists from when it was just a theory.

No, evolution is adaptation to environment good enough for survival. The human answer to famine is the ability to be omnivorous and so to make use of many different food sources. Grazing animals suffer severely in droughts because they have limited ability to eat anything other than grass. Grass is a low energy food, so grazing animals have to eat almost continuously. Humans consume high-energy foods which has advantages of mobility and adaptability.

Once a species fits an unchanging ecological niche, there is no environmental pressure to evolve. Horseshoe crabs are virtually unchanged in 400 million years.
