I came across this paper a few weeks ago:
The arguments inside aren't the most convincing (and has yet to attract any citations), but definitely thought provoking, whereas all the matter and energy in the universe is elegantly explained by the fact there is no net energy content, similarly this elegant model argues that nothing can be conceived as an infinite number of negating information entities.
Subsequent desymmetrisation allows 'bubbles' of potentiality (I'm pretty sure I'm using the wrong language here) to form form which the natural laws the universe operates by are set.
