What equation (if any) is closest to the solution for the issue of teleportation? Furthermore, do you think people will be teleporting anytime soon? If so, when? If the answer is no, give a thorough explanation and prove it to be mathematically impossible.

One more question, if a teleporting machine is created, what would it look like? Would it look like what they have been portrayed to look like in Hollywood or will it look different from that portrayal?

What concept of teleportation?

Create a clone elsewhere and destroy the original body? (yikes)
Transform matter into energy and beaming it?
Via. a time-space portal?
Accelerating particles in a certain direction?
Transportation toward an other dimension?

I don't see how our current technology is anywhere close to creating any of these feats.

If the effect is to move an object from one place to another, then there are various speculations on how this may be done. There is no formula for teleportation. If you consider an airplane and that airplane works on formula's for aerodynamics then a teleportation machine may work on principles of quantum mechanics.

The illusion of a particle has been shown to be produced in a wave take. But this is one particle and the illusion is directly sustained by the original.

You have quantum entanglement that can have two tanks of entangled particles and build a copy. Which is most cases would destroy the original but not necessarily.

I think if a teleportaion device in the near future is at all possible it will be built more on worm hole technology.

Or a quantum entangled gate. That as you enter one side, the exact state of the particles traversing the barrier would be remitted at the other end.

But anything like star trek teleporter, is looking as possible as time travel right now. Maybe for one particle at a time but not bigger

Watch some more Star Trek. What we clearly need before any transporter can work are Heisenberg compensators. :-p
