Can someone explain what the A theory and B theory of time to a layman?

I am going to go off the top of my head here and put it in the most simple way I can think of (could be wrong here).

B Theory - All time is equally "real", what you consider the past or future from your own relative position is just as real as what you would consider your now/present.

A Theory - Only the present exists.
