In the year 2005, a Bosnian man who live(s/d) in USA for some time, found something unusual in a Bosnian city called Visoko, near the capital Sarajevo. He knows a lot about pyramids, and is apparently an archaeologist, and he realized that the shapes of some "hills" were like those of pyramids in Mexico and Egypt.

He then called for some digging etc. in those areas, and then said that those are undoubtedly pyramids.

Many hours have been spent on digging and many experts have said that these are man-made structures. If these are in fact pyramids, the history of the world would have to be rewritten to an extent.

In July, 2007, I wanted to visit those alleged pyramids, and I did. I went to the top of one of them, because they are not fully excavated at all. I looked at the ground and some stones, and I must say that it is unusual. The way the ground of the 'pyramids' is formed seems to be unique. Also, one of the alleged pyramids is the largest in the world.

I took some stones of the pyramids as souvenirs. I also bought a book the same day to read more about it, and it sounds convincing. I cannot conclude anything yet, but I believe that some sort of man-made structures lie beneath the earth that is covering them.

I plan on visiting Visoko again this year, and I will try to see if I can get into one of those tunnels that apparently connects the pyramids. I will also take some more stones as souvenirs. This is very interesting and I certainly hope that there is something unique beneath the earth that is covering the structures.

What is your opinion on this?

Mirza,
I looked into this a little, but have not done any serious review of the information. I see problems from the start though. First, archeologists would jump on this because it would bring about serious review of the history of the region and civilization as a whole. Scientists flock to finds like this; they don't dismiss them as hoaxes from the start. The professional opinion is that the people promoting these digs are destroying other sites in their quest to make these mounds pyramids and are being irresponsible. These are some pretty serious claims. I will look into this more, but be careful that you are not being taken in by a scam artist.

This all sounds exciting, but something is amiss here and I can't put my finger on it yet. Be cautious.

Yea, this does not look good. I would recommend finding a call for volunteers from a more reliable group.

I know, that is why I have not concluded anything.

Also, the way they dig this up seems pretty risky in my opinion. They should do it more carefully. I think the 'pyramids' seem to be a little bit less fully structured. It is not like they remove the earth and there are big blocks that form the pyramid. Most of it seems to be made of minor pieces.

But there is still a lot of excavation going on, and I hope that something fascinating will come out of that nevertheless.

If there are actually pyramids then Bosnia is another place I will have to travel to. There's so many places I want to visit simply to see historical sites. Haha.

He and this 'find' has been denounced by a majority of the relevant archaeological societies. He does ask for a lot of funding though ...

If the archeologist is a Muslim, he clearly cannot be trusted!

Do you really think there's alot we can do about it? Not really. That comment was very uncalled for though.

Trust me, I hate those extremists just as much as you do. They give my religion a bad name.

Alright. Just don't judge an entire religious group based on the actions of extremists.
