Does the material on here prove itself to be scientifically plausible to make theories and predictions?

Old Earth Creationists often have some fairly on-point and accurate criticisms of Young Earth Creationism, but neither provide empirically compelling alternatives to the theory of evolution. One claim both support is that genetic information has degraded over time due to random mutation.

According to RTB, this genetic degradation explains the observed rise in autism spectrum disorder diagnoses. The predictive powers of this claim are evidently astounding; if their genetic degradation model is true then we should continue to see increasing ASD diagnoses in the immediate future. Admittedly it's hard to see how their prediction can go wrong when they could have simply extrapolated that from current rates without consideration of genetic degradation at all. []
