Imagine this:

A team of experts go through a person's history. They look at what a person's romantic partners looked like at the time that the person in question dated said partner. They also look at the behavioural attributes possessed by these people at that time.
With information on physical and behavioral attributes, they put together a "profile" of what kind of partner the person in question would want. Voila! They've created a "profile" of that person's sexual/romantic preferences.

What do you think?

Some people hide their sexual preferences. There are many instances of people coming out of the closet, despite being married to the opposite sex.

And besides, if you suck at dating and can only happen to get the ugly, fat girls, doesnt mean your sexual preference is Ugly fat girls.

The problem is that past dating partners may have been left due to a trait uncovered after getting to know each other. If unable to find why called it quits, it could uncover some incompatibilities, which IMO is more important than compatibility and preference.

One of the worst incompatibilities is how a couple resolves conflict and whether they are even capable of resolving conflict as a couple.

I think it is probably more complicated then it seems, just like everything else in the universe.

Why did you post this, is there something you have in mind that you are not telling us?
