Are we really just a product of computer circuits? All of the world controlled by a mad scientist? I don't think so. But there's a possibility.

No, I say God created us based on what he needed, someone to love, and someone to love him, worship him, and follow him. But for the sake of atheists, let's try this:

We were created to compete with all other beings in existence. I am not not suremf anything else.

Thats what any christian would say I'm sure.

I may be similar to a christian, but I am not one.

I do not understand, why?

I thought you were. Anyway that does not change that I'm sure every christian would say that. A non christian happening to say it too does not change anything.

Its so...general. I believe everyone chooses what gives their own life meaning and there is no set reason, other then to be happy and live a good life, leaving as little negative as possible behind, while sharing as much positive as you can.

What if self-awareness is part of the simulation :P?

The simulation argument is one of the easiest arguments to refute, here it is:

KFC is so good, it can not be a simulation.

If God created humans to love him, then God was imperfect, being subject to needs he could not fulfill without unreliable humans. God supposedly transcends time, but the "need" for humans apparently did arise until relatively recently, a contradiction to God being timeless.

"Life" is not a thing subject to "meaning." any more than, say, "rocks" are subject to "passion." This is the logical positivist argument.

The simulation argument is possibly true, but not the simplest explanation.

Yea, I'm pretty sure it's among the hardest (if not the hardest) to disprove.
